Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 The Coming of the White Worm ("白蛆の襲来" in Japanese publications) is a short story in the Cthulhu Mythos, written by Clark Ashton Smith, and is likely the inspiration for Ruri's character.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 "符蝕" (fu-shoku) has the same kanji as the previous version of the card (蝕符, shoku-fu), only flipped around. This forms a pun on "腐食" (fushoku), the Japanese word for 'corruption'. "Corrosign" is an attempt to approximate this pun.
- ↑ 3.0 3.1 Likely a reference to Zashiki-warashi ("tatami room child") youkai, as well as the Japanese folktale of the "yuki-warashi" (snow child).
- ↑ "Yukinkoffin" is (probably) a portmanteau of "Yukinko", a child yuki-onna, and "coffin".
- ↑ Rlim Shaikorth is a Great Old One appearing in Clark Ashton Smith's short story "The Coming of the White Worm".
- ↑ 6.0 6.1 Ishvara (written as "自在" in Chinese and Japanese) is the concept of a supreme deity in Hinduism.
- ↑ Pinaka is the name of the bow wielded by the Hindu deity Shiva.
- ↑ Mahesvara (written as "大自在天" in Chinese and Japanese) is another name for Shiva.
- ↑ Yikilth is the name of a giant iceberg that the Great Old One, Rlim Shaikorth, rides upon.
- ↑ 10.0 10.1 A reference to the Mushihime-sama ("Insect Princess") series of shooting games, specifically Mushihime-sama -Futari-.
- ↑ 11.0 11.1 A reference to the Castle of Shikigami series of shooting games.
