Is "Sen Gatensoku" Hisoutensoku or some troll's fake character?

Recently, I have seen in Pixiv and Danbooru/Safebooru (and a few Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese blogs, too) a drawing of some "automaton" named 臥天則 閃 (often romanized as "Sen Gatensoku", but some posts say instead either "Inka Gatensoku" or "Hirameki Gatensoku"). I don't know who originally authored the drawing (it was drawn in pretty much the same style as tasofro's official Touhou character renderings, and even the drawing is accompanied by some SWR-esque sprite), but the drawing's uploaders claim Sen Gatensoku is the Hisoutensoku mentioned in Touhou Hisoutensoku. I don't know the veracity of these claims, although some details about this Gatensoku fit the description given to Hisoutensoku in its own article. So, is "Sen Gatensoku" (or however it is romanized) the same Hisoutensoku from this article we are now discussing, or some "fake character" invented by some "troll"? Taisui Xingjun

This link is linking to a non-existing page. Why? Tony64 (Talk/Con.) 20:14, 03 April 2011 (UTC)

Never mind, I've created a page for this character and changed this link to here. What I still want to know is why was this link around the wiki?... If anyone knows please respond. Tony64 (Talk/Con.) 14:01, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Name

Shouldn't the name actually be "ヒソウテンソク" rather than "非想天則"? I think the name on the CD "Thermonuclear Titan Hisoutensoku" (核熱造神ヒソウテンソク) actually refers to the "robot" Hisoutensoku, and "非想天則" just seems to be derived from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. And in the CD, besides some concept art of the "robot" the name "ヒソウテンソク" appears. ☢ Quwanti 22:07, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

The kanji are used to refer to Hisoutensoku in an ending. - Kiefmaster99 (talk) 22:34, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

I am going to challenge the spacing of the name. The robot is inspired from Gakutensoku. To keep the spirit of the original, we should not include a space, and thus keep Hisoutensoku. - Kiefmaster99 (talk) 22:15, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

"Hisou Tensoku" is far more widely used though, I don't think I've ever seen someone refer to the big guy without a space outside this wiki. --Prime32 (talk) 22:36, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
How 'established' the name is is irrelevant. What I would like to see however is their rationale. - Kiefmaster99 (talk) 22:50, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
Adding a space in between 非想天則 looks weird. Although it's not a legit Japanese word, my intuition as a native speaker suggests it's a one-word phrase. Also I'll delete the "aka Thermonuclear Titan Hisou Tensoku (核熱造神ヒソウテンソク)" part since it's only the name for the soundtrack, and not 非想天則's name.--Doncot (talk) 12:11, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Abilities

Where exactly is "Manipulation of Land and Weather" coming from? I'm not sure what source it could have, plus it's a non-sentient balloon. --Prime32 (talk) 23:00, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Well, after looking trough the history I guess I added it accidentally, so it is all my fault. I probably copied the template over from Tenshi's page and forgot to delete the abilty part. ☢ Quwanti 23:06, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
