So... how popular is "popular"? After doing Google and Youtube searches I get:

Is that enough to warrant a page for Masha? --Prime32 12:43, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Mitori and Maybell seem popular enough to have there own page. ...I've never heard of "Masha Kinoko" till now, and by the looks of it, no, shouldn't create a page for her. By "popular" should suggest that they are very notable. Take the Nameless Midboss Fairy's fan name "Rengeteki". Results with "touhou rengeteki" on google are only 1,660 and the three above are much higher. btw, the name is rarely used. Mmm... maybe it should say "popular enough"...}}

Kanji results would be a better barometer and should be combined with results for English names. For example, kanji alone for Sasha Sashiromiya (左城宮 則紗) gives 22300 results. I also think YouTube results (and Nico Video) should be included. However, being an OC created by the English fanbase puts Masha in an odd spot when determining notability, relevance, popularity, whatever. Anyway, somewhere down this page is Masha's profile. Although Masha's facts may be just a bit biased. UTW 03:07, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
I'd just like to comment that when you use quotes, there's 821 Google results for "Masha Kinoko," 75 for "Kinoko Masha," and 51 results for "奇野小" "ましゃ". Without quotes, they stop being about the fan-character fairly quickly. —Kimiko 05:31, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
