東方三月精 ~ Eastern and Little Nature Deity (Touhou Sangetsusei, "Eastern Three Fairies") was drawn by Nemu Matsukura from 2005-05 until 2006-05 and written by ZUN.

However, Matsukura had to give up the project for health reasons, and Makoto Hirasaka took it over. After Hirasaka took over, the comic was renamed Strange and Bright Nature Deity (2006-2009) and Oriental Sacred Place (2009 - 2012). The comic was serialized in a magazine called MediaMix Game Magazine. [1]

On Jan 26, 2007, the tankoubon (graphic novel compilation) of Eastern and Little Nature Deity went on sale. It contained a CD. There is also an additional written work in this series by ZUN titled "Fairy of the Moon" illustrated by Chiha Ayami (綾見ちは).
