Composer's Greeting

おおよそ始めまして、ZUNです。 聴いていると変な霊が集まってくる様なCDを目指しました。 ジャケットと曲でワンセットになる様に試みてますので、余裕があったら、曲に合わせてコメントを読んでみて下さい。 ちなみに、除霊は自費でお願いします。

Nice to probably meet you. I'm ZUN. I was going for a feeling like that of strange ghosts gathering around when you listen to this CD. I decided to try combining the songs with the booklet, if you have the time, please read the comments while listening. By the way, pay all the charge for dispelling the ghosts by yourself, please.

Story

そういえばこれ、誰のお墓かしら？	I wonder whose grave this is...

#01	夜のデンデラ野を逝く	Wandering about a Ghostly Field in the Night
「そう、間違いなくこれよ。」 蓮子はそう言って写真付きのノートを見せた。 肌寒くなってきた秋の夜にわざわざ出掛けて来たんだから、何か見つからないと困る。 でも正直、墓荒らしの真似は避けたかったわ。		"Yes, I'm sure this is it." Renko said so, and showed me a notebook with some photos. We'd be disappointed if we couldn't find anything, because we came all the way here on a chilly autumn night. Though, honestly, I hoped to avoid acting like a grave-robber.

#02	少女秘封倶楽部	Girls' Sealing Club
「メリー、蓮台野にある入り口を見に行かない？」 蓮子がその話を持ちかけてきたのは二日前の事だった。 私達秘封倶楽部は、メンバーは二人だけど、良くあるただの霊能者サークル。 霊能者サークルだけど、普通みたいに除霊や降霊とかは好きじゃないの。 周りからはまともな霊能活動した事ない不良サークル、と思われてるけど……実はね。		"Merry, shall we go and see the entrance at the ghostly field?" It was two days ago that she made the proposition. The Sealing Club, whose sole members are the two of us, is mere common club for mediums. Yes, it's a group for mediums, but we are not into ghost summoning or exorcising as the others do. They just believe we are an incompetent group that does not participate in the usual activities, but the truth is...

#03	東方妖々夢 ～ Ancient Temple	Eastern Mystic Dream ~ Ancient Temple
「蓮台野の入り口って、何？　蓮子。」 私は蓮台野に入り口があるなんて聞いたこと無かったし、余りにも唐突だったのでそれしか言えなかったわ。 「まあ、見てよ。」 蓮子は古い寺院が写っている写真を差し出した。見た事も無い寺院だった。 「これが冥界よ。」		"What is this entrance at the ghostly field, Renko?" She told me out of the blue, so it was the only thing I could say, having never heard of such a thing before. "Well, just look." Renko handed me a photo. It showed an ancient temple like I've never seen before. "This is the Netherworld."

#04	古の冥界寺	Ancient Temple in the Netherworld
「なんで冥界の写真なんかあるのよ。」 「私には裏表ルートがあるのよ。メリー。」 どういうルートかさっぱり分からなかったけど、どうせ死体相手の念写かなんかだろう。 「で、こっちの写真。山門の奥を見て……」		"How come you have a photo of the Netherworld?" "I have a connection you don't know, Merry." I have no idea what the connection is, but I guess it's something like a spirit photograph from the dead. "And in this picture, if you look beyond the Buddhist gate..."

#05	幻視の夜 ～ Ghostly Eyes	Illusionary Night ~ Ghostly Eyes
「ほら、門のここ。向こう側。明らかに現世でしょ？」 指差された場所には、夜の平野、そして、一つの墓石が写っていた。 空気の色が違う。確かにそれは私たちの世界の色……。 私は山門は三門って漢字が正しいのよ、と言おうか迷っていた。		"See, the gate is here. And on the other side of it, doesn't that obviously look like our world?" She pointed at the darkened field, and there was a single gravestone visible. It looks like another atmosphere from the one in the picture, definitely our world's... Also, I hesitated to tell her that it's a Shinto gate, not a Buddhist one.

#06	魔術師メリー	Merry, the Magician
そう、秘封倶楽部の裏の顔は張り巡らされた結界を暴くサークルなの。 均衡を崩す恐れがあるから禁止されてるんだけどね。 でも、私は結界の境目が見えるの。何もしてなくても見えてしまうのよ。 見えてしまうんだから不可抗力よね。		The truth of the Sealing Club is that we are a group for exposing the boundaries that surround this world. It's supposed to be forbidden though, as there is the fear they may become destroyed. Even so, I can see the borders of these boundaries. Even if I don't do anything I can see them. It's inevitable, I just see them.

#07	月の妖鳥、化猫の幻	Strange Bird of the Moon, Illusion of Mysterious Cat
そう言えば、蓮子は『蓮台野の入り口』って言ってたわ。 この写真から入り口の場所が分かったのかしら？ 「簡単よ。ここに月と星が写っているのが見えるじゃない。」 蓮子は星の光で今の時間が分かり、月を見ただけで今居る場所が分かるらしい。 蓮子はいつも私の眼の事を気持ち悪いって言うけど、蓮子の眼の方が気持ち悪いと思うわ。		Then I remembered when Renko mentioned "an entrance at the ghostly field". Did she find out where the entrance is from this picture? "It's easy. We can see where the moon and the stars are pictured, can't we?" According to Renko, she can tell what time it is by the stars and where she is by the moon. Renko is always complaining I have unsettling eyes, I think her eyes are more unsettling than mine.

#08	過去の花 ～ Fairy of Flower	Flower of Past Days ~ Fairy of Flower
彼岸花って気持ち悪いよね。私、あの花嫌いなの。子供の時からそうだったわ。 蓮台野で一番彼岸花が多く生えているお墓が入り口よ。何故か突然そう言ってしまった。 蓮子は、メリーが言うなら間違いない、と信じて疑わなかった。 勝手に目的地にめぼしが付けられた。		Lycoris is so creepy! I've detested it since I was a child. (note) "The entrance is a gravestone where lycoris grows the thickest in the ghostly field." That phrase escaped from my lips somehow. Renko believed me entirely, saying that since it's from me, it must be true. It seems that she has decided our destination by herself.

#09	魔法少女十字軍	Magical Girl Crusade
ついに、蓮台野結界穴捜索決行の日が来た！ 人気の無い夜が最適、という事で夜に出発する事になった。 勇ましく出発したまでは良かったんだけど、蓮台野に着いた時、急に冷静になってしまったわ。 そう言えば、蓮台野って墓地だったわね……。		Finally, the investigating the ghostly field for holes in the boundary has come! The field is deserted at night, ideal conditions for our activity, so we left for it in the evening. We set off in high spirits at first, but when we arrived at this place, we quickly calmed down. Now that I think about it, this ghostly field is a graveyard...

#10	少女幻葬 ～ Necro-Fantasy	A Maiden's Illusionary Funeral ~ Necro-Fantasy
蓮子言う通り目的の墓石はこれだろうけど、何も見えない。 蓮子は私をせかす。私は墓を弄ってみたり、卒塔婆を抜いてみたり色々やってみた。 蓮子は空を見ながら、2時27分41秒、と呟いている。気持ち悪い。 結局、墓荒らしの真似をしているのは私だけか。 墓石は重たくて回すのがやっとなんだけど……。 「2時30分ジャスト！」 墓石を4分の1回転させたその時、秋だと言うのに目の前に一面桜の世界が広がった。		I figure this gravestone is the one Renko spoke of, but I can see nothing else. Renko was urging me. I tried touching the grave, pulling up the inscription plaques, and al sorts of things. She looked up the sky and murmured "2:27:41". How unsettling... In the end, it seems I'm the only one acting like a grave-robber. The gravestone is heavy but I managed to turn it... "2:30 sharp!" she said just as I turned the stone by a quarter-rotation. Even though it is autumn now, a panorama of cherry blossoms spread out around us.

#11	幻想の永遠祭	Illusionary Eternal Festival
紅葉ももう終わろうとしていた。 我が不良サークルはまだ細々と続いている。 夜になると空を見て時間を呟く癖のある相棒は、私との待ち合わせに遅れていた。 「遅くなってごめん！」 「2分19秒遅刻。」 相棒は写真を取り出し、いつもの様に語り始めた。 「そんな事よりメリー、博麗神社にある入り口を見に行かない？」		The autumn leaves had already fallen. Our incompetent club continues with very little activity. My partner, who has a habit of looking up the night sky and murmuring the time, is running late for our appointment. "Sorry to keep you waiting!" "You're 2 minutes and 19 seconds late." My partner took out a picture and started talking as usual. "But never mind that, Merry, why don't we go see the entrance at the Hakurei Shrine?"
