ここでの蓬莱は、蓬莱で取れる~、の意味もあるが、本当は
輝夜が自分の名前を使っているだけかも。輝夜の薬でも同じ。
Translation
The "Hourai" part can mean "it's found in Hourai" too, but it might just be
because Kaguya's using her own name on it. So "Kaguya Elixir" would work too.

不死の薬を作れるなんてばれたら、輝夜は権力者の取り合い
になる。でも断り続けるだろう。まさにアンチシンデレラ。
Translation
If the public found out that Kaguya can make elixirs of immortality, every person of power
would go after her. She'd probably refuse all their offers, though. She's truly an Anti-Cinderella.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 壺中の天地: Story from Chinese legend; an officer finds a beautiful paradise inside an old man's pot.
  2. 2.0 2.1 Game of Life: a cellular automaton devised by the British mathematician John Horton Conway.
  3. Referring to "Raizing(ライジング)", a famous shooting game developer.
  4. 4.0 4.1 4.2 4.3 Omoikane: A god from Japanese legend who symbolizes intelligence and thinking. The full name is 八意思兼神 (Yagokoro Omoikane No Kami). 八意永琳 (Yagokoro Eirin) is probably modeled after the god Omoikane.
  5. In the original Japanese, ZUN says it "proves how unskilled it is", as a pun on 脳 (nou / brain) and 能 (nou / skill).
  6. Idiom: "a skilled hawk hides its claws" (能ある鷹は爪を隠す / nou aru taka wa tsume wo kakusu).
  7. 7.0 7.1 7.2 7.3 Apollo 13: A part of NASA's space project, known for its critical malfunction and dramatic return to Earth.
  8. ZUN makes a joke about the fact that アポロ13 (Apollo 13) was named after アポロン (Apóllōn).
  9. Apollo Chocolate is a long-selling chocolate made by Meiji Confectionary Company, originally produced as a memorial to the success of Apollo 11.
  10. 10.0 10.1 10.2 10.3 密葬法 (missouhou): lit. "secret burial/funeral/cover-up method". Likely chosen for its overlap with 密室 (misshitsu, lit. "sealed/locked room"), in the context of Eirin's "spell to turn the Earth into one giant sealed chamber". Further, this very likely a homophonic pun and reference to the 天文密奏 (tenmon missou, lit. "secret astronomical report") submitted by the astronomers/astrologers of Ancient China and Japan to the ruling emperor in regards to any observed unusual astrological event or change in the stars that may bring good or (especially) ill omens. By substituting 奏 with the homophonous 葬, "report" becomes "cover-up", in the sense that Eirin covered up the true Moon.
  11. ZUN is obviously referring to Stephen Hawking.
