Additional Info
  • The credited vocalist "GSK48" is a parody of AKB48 — this track is actually just an overdub by Nana Takahashi, the arranger and lyricist. It is probably meant to be read as "Gensoukyou Fourty-Eight".

  1. 1.0 1.1 When we put kanji on "au" (to meet/see/come up/encounter), it's normally "会う". But this "au" is in a neologistic usage "遭遇う". This way of kanji assigning comes from "遭遇" (to come up/encounter, souguu), which can be used only in coming accross without intention to do so.
  2. 2.0 2.1 These lines are spellt in katakana. Katakana is used in modern usage to imply that that is 1) a loanword or loaned phrase, or 2) a sentence spoken with non-frequent or strange accent or pronunciation. The latter applies in this case, and is likely a message from the alien (Nue?).
  3. "Koete" (to come over/beyond) in "nori-koete" (to get over, overcome) is normally spellt as "越えて", but this phrase is spelt as "超えて", the present-day meaning of which is "to exceed/transcend" — the brief difference is: the former is like jumping over the line or climbing up the fence, and the latter is like filling up the tachometer or gasoline meter to the top. In this usage, the alien rushes over the border between the inner and outer space, feeling like the rank of his/her passion is getting up.
  4. This word "takaramono" is spelt here in katakana, which indicates that the present would be a "treasure" for that alien.
  5. This phrase is taken for a part of the mysterious chant for calling a UFO — three people gather at the rooftop of a building, holding hands and forming a circle, and chant Bentorā Bentorā Supēsu Pīpuru (Ventla Ventla Space People). There are several spellings that could apply: Ventula, Ventra, Ventura or Ventora. (Maybe only a professional ufologist or occultist could point out which is the correct one.) This phrase became famous when it was introduced in TV programms of Jun'ichi Yaoi (矢追純一), the most famous ufologist in Japan, with a suspicious theory that it had been witnessed as Van Tassel.
