Sokrates (ソクラテス Sokuratesu) is Ellen's pet cat. During the events of Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream he was always seen on top of Ellen's shoulder and it is said that he rarely leaves Ellen's side. The only time you see Ellen without him is when she casts a spell card.

- Sokrates is one of the few mundane cats featured in the Touhou Project.
- Sokrates is the second male to be introduced to the series, first being Genjii. (This excludes SinGyoku's third form, which does look like a male priest, but this is unknown.)
