東方風魔録 ～ The Story of Eastern Wind (romanized: Touhou Fuuma Roku) is a remake of Story of Eastern Wonderland featuring Windows series characters and Mima, as well as an original extra stage. The game features four playable characters, Sanae Kochiya, Reimu Hakurei, Suika Ibuki, and Yuyuko Saigyouji each with a unique story line. Gameplay consists of five stages, as well as two separate extra stages.
Gameplay
Story of Eastern Wind features three playable characters, with one additional unlockable character, obtained after clearing at least on of the initial characters story mode. Like SoEW, there are only five stages in the regular story mode. Extra mode can be accessed by a character after her scenario has been completed without a continue; unlike SoEW, extra mode is unlocked per character. There is a yukkuri extra stage, modeled off of SoEW's extra stage, and an additional extra stage original to this game.
