Review
dBu returns with (what is apparently) his eleventh album.
Like many of his previous Touhou works, the diversity in the music keeps the listener engaged instead of boring them with the same kind of music over and over. This time around, dBu seems to make use of newer, more interesting, sounds and effects. For example, in the tenth track (霊知の太陽信仰 ~ Shall we fuse?), you can occasionally hear a beepy sound reminiscent of video games playing along with the music. Other tracks features sounds of wind in caves, and others feature new instruments as well. Especially prominent in quite a few tracks is what sounds like a violin.
Overall, the tracks are diverse and very good. It was well worth waiting for the album's release in C75.
Recommended to:
- Fans of SA's music
- Anyone who likes diverse music
- Anyone who likes upbeat or high-tempo music, with the occasional slow, lulling piece in there
Not recommended to:
- People who don't like hard/progressive rock
- People who dislike much diversity in an album
