  • Marisa's theme "BE A SHOOTING STAR~Casket of Star" sounds similar to "TIME TO COME" from SRW4, theme of Irmgard "Irm" Kazahara, Gilliam Yeager and Ring Mao.
  • Keine's theme "The Iron Brain~Plain Asia" sounds similar to "Trombe!" and "ICE MAN" from SRW OG, themes of Elzam and Raidiese Branstein respectively.
  • Meiling's theme "Protect! Chinese Maiden! ~ Shanghai Teahouse" has similar approach to "Ware ni Take Nashi", theme of the dragon-themed mech RyuKoOh from the SRW Alpha series.
  • The map theme "For Gensokyo's Tomorrow ~ Wandering about a Ghostly Field in the Night" is based on "For This Planet's Tommorow", the map theme for SRW Alpha series
  • Youmu's theme name "Light Sword, One Flash (Ken Kou Issen/剣・光・一・閃)" is written in the same manner as Sanger Zonvolt's theme while piloting DyGenGuard "Soul Sword, One Strike (Ken Kon Itteki/剣・魂・一・擲)"
  • Aya's theme name "Shippu! Senpuu! Shameimaru! ~ Wind God Girl " parodies Cybuster's theme music "Neppu! Shippu! Cybuster".

  • The song "Hunt for the Cute Guest ~ U.N. Owen Was Her?" Is a combination of "U.N. Owen Was Her?" and "Violent Battle", the theme of The Inspectors from several classic SRW and SRW OG2.
  • Alice's theme "DANCING DOLL ~ Doll Judgement" sounds similar to "Shooting Star, Cut Through the Night", Ibis Douglas's theme from SRW Alpha/OG 2.
  • The intro to Elly's battle theme "Maiden Standing Before the Dream Door ~ Spirit Battle" is similar to the intro of "White Reflection" from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.
  • Sakuya's theme "DISTORTION DIAL ~ Lunar Clock Luna Dial" sounds similar to "Variable Formation", the SRX's combination theme from SRW Alpha/OGs.

  • Hina's theme "MISERY GO ROUND ~ Dark Side of Fate" is arranged in the style of Ali Project, possibly a reference to Rozen Maiden.
  • The intro of Nitori's boss theme "From the Bottom of the Valley and the River ~ Ryuunosuke Akutagawa's Kappa" is based on "Calm Crystal Blue", the theme of Goddess, Masoukishin of Water.
  • Letty's theme "LETTY THE COOL LADY ~ Crystalized Silver" sounds similar to "Woman the Cool Spy", theme of Viletta Vadim.
  • "Falling Harvest Autumn ~ Fall of Fall", the theme of Momiji's final attack, is based on the opening theme of Gun X Sword.
  • Sanae's battle theme, "BRAND NEW WIND", references "Realise", the 4th OP of Gundam SEED
  • The theme of Sanae's final attack is based on the opening theme of Brain Powered, "In My Dream".
  • The Prismriver's music references "Go Tight", the second opening theme of Genesis of Aquarion.
  • Lily White's theme resembles "Platinum Lucifer", theme of Excellen Browning.
  • Stage 26 map music "The Serene Land of Arcadia ~ Dream of Arcadia" is based on the song "THE UNIVERSE". One of the map music from Super Robot Wars F

  • Mystia's default theme "Moonlight Seven-eyed Lamprey ~ Deaf to all but the song" is based on Macross 7's Opening "Seventh Moon"
  • One of Mystia's song attack "Bye-bye Chicken Heart ~ Deaf to all but the song" is slightly based on "Do you remember Love?", the song from the first Super Dimensional Fortress Macross movie.
  • One of Mystia's song attack "Midnight Chorus Master" is based on "Seiken Hikou", the famous song by Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier.
  • EX-Keine theme "Now the moon rises ~ Extended Ash is based on "Awaken are a person's will", the theme of Odyssea, Game Original character's upgrade form from Super Robot Wars UX.
  • Reisen's finisher theme "UDON-ZAM ~ Lunatic Eyes is based on the BGM song "FIGHT" from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The based song is known by fans as the "Trans-Am song" in which Reisen's finisher is based on.
  • Reimu's upgraded theme is based on "Dancing Blue", theme of Aqua from Super Robot Wars MX.
  • Wriggle's theme resembles "Endless Battle", the default battle theme of the Masoukishin series.
  • Wriggle's finisher theme resembles "Wild Flug", the theme for WildWurger and WildFalguen from Super Robot Wars Original Generation series
  • Reimu's Fantasy Nature theme "The unreachable voice ~ Eternal Shrine Maiden" is based on the style of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn soundtracks such as "Unicorn" and "Mad-Nug"

  • Minoriko's Baked Sweet Potato "Sweet Potato Room" references the crushing attack used by the Space Monsters in Gunbuster.
  • Their combination attack is a reference to the "Super Inazuma Kick" from Gunbuster and the EVA-01/02 Synchro Attack from Evangelion.

  • Her final attack resembles Cybuster's "Akashic Buster".
  • Nazrin
  • Her final attack ends with a single coin popping from the target's head, accompanied by the Mario series's distinctive sound effect.

  • "Hyper Beam Cucumber" is a reference to the Zeta Gundam's "Hyper Beam Saber" attack.
  • "Pororocca" is a reference to Tekkaman Blade's "Voltekka."

  • The triangular display which appears during their final combination attack is a reference to Aquarion.

  • The charging sequence for her final attack resembles the Valsione's "Cross Smasher".
  • Her final attack itself resembles the Brains' Two Hand Blade attack from Brain Powerd.
  • Suwako
  • The animation for her Iron Rings is similar to that of Nobel Gundam's Beam Hoop attack.
  • One of her attack "Tenaga/Ashinaga-sama" is somewhat similar to Dominator's Overskill attack from "Overman King Gainer".
  • Three Fairies of Light
  • Their strongest combination attack resembles the combination attack of the mecha from Dragonar.
  • Youmu
  • The animation for her final attack is a reference to the Vysaga's "Koujinsen."
  • Yukari
  • Her basic attack resembles Granzon's "Worm Smasher".
  • Another one of her attack where she summons a sphere that erases everything is based on Worm Spheres. A kind of attack used by Festums, the alien invaders from Soukyuu no Fafner.

  • Her final attack Astronomical Entombing resembles Cybuster's finisher Cosmo Nova.
  • Hatate
  • Her finisher "Reverse Thoughtography Reporting" is based on Jun's Thoughtography attack from Sousei no Aquarion.
  • Keine (hakutaku form)
  • She attacks with a ring of magatama in the same way as the Bergelmir's Six Slaves.
  • Her attack Returning-Bridge Ichijo produces lightning from her horns, similar to Gaiking's Volt Paralyzer.
  • Her final attack resembles KoRyuOh's Tyrant Over Break, specifically its animation from Super Robot Wars Original Generations.

  • Her Non-Directional Laser resembles the Wing Gundam Zero's Rolling Buster Rifle attack from Gundam Wing.
  • Her Blazing Star causes her broom to leave a green trail similar to that of the Nirvash in Eureka Seven.
  • The charging animation for her Final Spark resembles Stoner Sunshine, the strongest attack of Shin Getter Robo.
  • Mokou
  • Her Fujiyama Volcano resembles the Baikanfu's God Hand Smash from Machine Robo.
  • Her attack Possessed by Phoenix has her fly into the core of her phoenix attack from Mystic and cause it to turn blue, then ram her opponent with it. These attacks resemble the pre- and post-upgrade versions of Cybuster's Akashic Buster from the Masoukishin games.

  • Her attack Midnight Chorus Master has her perform her songs on-stage, similar to the Super Robot Wars attack animations for Macross Seven characters (whom Mystia uses similar mechanics to).
  • Reimu + Sanae
  • Their combination attack is identical to Chakra Extension Shoot from Brain Powerd.
  • Reisen
  • One of her attack (With the longest range) is somewhat similar to Gachiko and Emperanza's "Black Southern Cross" attack from Overman King Gainer.
  • Her attack Lunatic Red Eyes has her use the Trans-Am mode from Gundam 00.
  • Her final attack Invisible Full Moon, where she telepathically communicates with the moon to receive energy for a powerful beam, follows the concept of the Satellite Cannon from Gundam X.
  • Remilia
  • Her new final attack Red the Nightless Castle resembles Shin Getter Robo's Shin Shine Spark from Super Robot Wars Alpha 3.
  • Utsuho
  • Some of her sound effects and animations are borrowed from the Wing Gundam Zero Custom from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.
  • Her Peta Flare functions like SRW depictions of the Ideon Gun from Space Runaway Ideon.
  • Her final attack resembles Mazinkaiser's ultimate attack Kaiser Nova.
  • Wriggle
  • Her first attack "Wriggle Battle Wing" is based on Shin Getter 1's attack of the same name.
  • The animation for her finisher is based on Ultimate Gespenst Kick, a finisher of Gespenst MkII Type S from Super Robot Wars Original Generation series.
  • Yuugi
  • When getting hit by her spellcard "Knock Out in Three Steps", a player will sent flying to the moon. The scene where the player crashes onto the moon is similar to when an enemy crashes to the moon by Mugen Punch from Sousei no Aquarion

Other Parodies

Scarlet

  • The title of the 5th chapter in Reimu's route is "Shippuu! Senpuu! Shameimaru!", a reference to Cybuster's theme "Neppu! Shippu! Cybuster!".
  • On Stage 12 "Summer House" there's a skull in the middle of the patio - said skull is no other than the head of the Daiku Maryuu, aka the chest of Gaiking)

Mystic

  • Among the generic tengu and kappa enemies are the unique units "Tengu A", "Tengu B" and "Kappa C", who have above-average stats. Kappa C, fought in Stage 20 of Marisa's route, wears a red version of the standard kappa outfit which she claims is three times faster. This is a reference to Char Aznable's infamous "three times faster" red mobile suits. Kappa C also bears a great resemblance to fan character Mitori Kawashiro.
  • In Stage 30, the scene where the Three Fairies of Light "combine" into a single unit is a parody of Gurren-Lagann's first combination scene in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
