Graceful Danmaku Festival (formerly Dancing Danmaku Festival: The Soulfilled Consulation) is a fan-made Touhou Project-inspired script for the Touhou Danmakufu ph3 shooting game engine. The game was developed entirely by Princess Sylvysprit, including artwork and soundtrack. The game was released in mid April, 2016. Although it contains similarities to Touhou Project, the game takes place in a completely separate universe from Touhou Project with an entirely separate cast of characters, thus giving it its own canon.

Gameplay

The game consists of 3 stages, each with a boss and a midboss. There is only one playable character, Itsuna Nani, a sheep youkai.
The gameplay focuses on grazing in order to earn extra lives.

Story

One morning, the protagonist, Itsuna Nani was asleep, when she was rudely awakened by fairies using guns. She then ventures out in search of who is responsible for this!

The game is set in its own world, separate from the Touhou Project universe. This is made apparent due to the lack of named "Spell Cards" (since the Spell Card Rules have not been created for this universe). The world also appears to have its own language that bears an uncanny resemblance to our "regular" language, but with a few intentionally misspelled words.

Music

Graceful Danmaku Festival features original music inspired by ZUN, composed by Princess Sylvysprit. There were 10 tracks released as part of the official game. A bonus track was later released on the 2nd of August, 2016.
