Reimu has homing as ever. Her homing can especially be helpful on the Extra Stage and you can easy take damage to enemies by standing above them. All in all, Reimu is the easiest shot to use and is good for new players.

Cirno is probably the worst shot in this game. I would recomend Cirno for survival more than scoring, because her release is effective because you only use up one release every time, and she has pretty slow moving speed.

Marisa is very strong with her main season and can take out enemies pretty quickly. She especially does a lot of damage on Okina in Stage 6. Her shot is wide and therefore I would recomend Marisa to people who are good at concentrating.

This article is the general strategy for Hidden Star in Four Seasons.

Basic[edit]

Lives and Bombs[edit]

In Hidden Star in Four Seasons, Lives are tied to your score and you will gain a life when reaching a certain amount of score, you can also get lifes from releases, since releases will give you points. With Bombs, they are obtained trough certain midbosses, which includes:

  • Mai midboss on Stage 4
  • Nemuno midboss on Stage 2
  • Eternity Larva midboss on Stage 1

Character Strategies[edit]

(Their respective season is used)

Reimu

Reimu has homing as ever. Her homing can especially be helpful on the Extra Stage and you can easy take damage to enemies by standing above them. All in all, Reimu is the easiest shot to use and is good for new players.

Cirno

Cirno is probably the worst shot in this game. I would recomend Cirno for survival more than scoring, because her release is effective because you only use up one release every time, and she has pretty slow moving speed.

Aya

Probably the best for scoring because of her speed, her release can give you a lot of points.

Marisa

Marisa is very strong with her main season and can take out enemies pretty quickly. She especially does a lot of damage on Okina in Stage 6. Her shot is wide and therefore I would recomend Marisa to people who are good at concentrating.
