Music List

Title Screen theme
極彩色の夢現
Gokusaishiki no mugen
A Brilliantly-Colored Waking Dream 緋子望 (Hishimottie)

今回の作曲にあたり、曲名を先に頂いていました。 極彩色、ということでギラギラな感じで。ギラギラ! (夢現を顕現と読み間違えて作曲したのは内緒)

Stage 1 theme
紅き黎明に歌垣を
Akaki reimei ni utagaki wo
Gather and Sing in the Scarlet Dawn 緋子望 (Hishimottie)

一番最初のステージなのでシンプルに作るつもりが、 和風のエッセンスをドバドバしてたらこってりに。 サビはさっぱりめに。そしてテーマに沿った雰囲気を出して……。 そしたらこんな曲ができました(どういうこと?)。

Stage 1 Boss - Ariwara no Miyabiko's theme
古の六歌仙 ~Love letter from ?
Inishie no rokkasen[1]
Six Poetry Immortals of Old ~Love letter from ? 緋子望 (Hishimottie)

カッコいい人にはカッコいい曲を。 1面ボスには1面ボスっぽい曲を。 雅な人には風流でキラキラした曲を。 和風でアップテンポな曲、大好きです。

Stage 2 theme
吹き荒ぶ風を突き抜けて
Fukisusabu kaze wo tsukinukete[1]
Pierce Through the Raging Winds Monday, めいす (Mace)

(コメント代筆:maceknight) 激しい風が吹き抜ける懐かしくも新しい、スピーディな感じに編曲しました。 風を感じる時って、自身も風になっているような感覚を覚えます。 自転車で坂道を駆け抜けるとお気軽に風になった気になれるのでオススメです。 (本当かー?)

Stage 2 Boss - Ren & Ten Hitotachi's theme
不吹堂の飛威綱
Fukandou no tobi izuna[1]
Flying Izuna of the Unblowing Temple [2][3] 壱太 (Ichita)

和風なスピード感のある曲です。 飛び跳ねたメロディで素早いかまいたちっぽさを出せているかと思います。 所詮、低級妖怪の2面ボス。強敵っぽさはなく楽しげに。

Stage 3 theme
暗闇に舞え、石の花吹雪
Kurayami ni mae, ishi no hanafubuki[1]
Dance in the Darkness, Falling Stone Cherry Blossoms Monday, 古山智之 (khirio)

(コメント代筆:古山智之) あたり一面輝いてる感じを出すために、 地底っぽさ+金属的な音色多めにしてみました。 キラキラしてますね、うん。

Stage 3 Boss - Sekito Umakakeba's theme
影絶つ速さのサラブレッド
Kage tatsu hayasa no sarabureddo[1]
Thoroughbred of Shadow-Severing Speed[4] 夜狐夜叉 (Yoko Yasha)

(コメント代筆:ガガワ イチ) 三国志に出てくる馬って格好いい名前が多いですよね。的盧とか絶影とか。 赤兎馬は一日に千里を走ったと言いますが、 生涯移動距離はどんなものだったんでしょう? ところで、赤兎馬というと同じ名前の焼酎が飲みたくなります。

Stage 4 theme
伽藍の霊殿 ~ Hollow Mansion
Garan no reiden[5]
A Mausoleum as Vast as a Garan Temple[6] ~ Hollow Mansion NED

神戸の異人館って皆さん行かれたことあるでしょうか。 坂道が割と大変な所に何個も館があるんですが、 至るところに妖怪が生息していそうなスポットがあって面白いです。 今時マントルピースがある家ってそんなに多くない気がします。

Stage 4 Boss - Magura Togura's theme
スターヴカラミティー
Sutāvu karamitī
Starve Calamity NED

給食になると、私のクラスメイトは好き嫌いが激しい人達が 多かったので、よく私の机に残り物が集まっていました。 しかし、それで付いたあだ名が「残飯処理兵」です。ひどい。 天からの恵みは残飯と呼ばずに、感謝して頂きましょう。

Stage 5 theme
タタラ・ザ・ファーネース
Tatara za fānēsu
Tatara the Furnace NED

実家にあったトンカチをカンカン叩いたのをレコーディングして 収録しました。道具箱をいきなり取り出して工具を叩きだす 自分を見て家族は遂に頭でも打ったのかという目で 見ていました。打ったのは頭ではなくトンカチです。

Stage 5 Boss - Kikyou Kabutozukamori's theme
桔梗塚伝説 ~ Black Ventus
Kikyouzuka densetsu[5]
Legend of Kikyouzuka[7] ~ Black Ventus Wanwan

折角なのでこういった感じの曲にしようと思っていました。 関節とかがない感覚ってどんな感じなんでしょう……? ちなみに顎が外れるととても辛いです。もう慣れましたけども。

Stage 6 theme
鋼は炎より生じて大地に還る
Hagane wa honoo yori shoujite daichi ni kaeru[5]
Steel is Born from Flame, and Returns to the Earth 夜狐夜叉 (Yoko Yasha)

(コメント代筆:ガガワ イチ) 最近ステンレスではない、鋼の包丁を購入しました。 「色即是空 村正」とか彫られてる良いヤツです。 ステンレスのものと違って、手入れをきちんとしないとすぐ錆びます。 鋼が錆びるのは加工される前の姿に戻ろうとする現象、という話もあるそうな。

Stage 6 Boss - Shuuu Yasogami's theme
軍神五兵の反逆者 ~ REBELLION God Force
Gunshin gohei no hangyakusha[5]
Rebel of the War God's Five Weapons[8] ~ REBELLION God Force[9] Wanwan

和風と中華風は音が似ていて区別が難しい時がありますが、 オリエンタルって呼んでおけば大丈夫です。カタカナ便利ですね。 五兵で調べてみたら読めない武器がちらほら・・・漢字って難しい。

Ending theme
鬼も内よで福来たる {{{titleEN}}} 緋子望 (Hishimottie)

タイトル画面のテーマを使ったりしてます。 幻想郷での大団円はきっとこんな感じ。多分。 全体的にどんよりしてるのもリスペクトの内です。

Staff Roll theme
奈落のオクトーバーフェスト
Naraka no okutōbāfesuto
Oktoberfest in Naraka 古山智之 (khirio)

4面道中のビール系(?)アレンジです。 地底の地ビール、どんな味わいなんだろう…

地獄がテーマですし、ちょっと重いくらいがちょうど良いんです。 トンカチの音なんですが、最初SD-90を叩いた奴を使おうとして いたんですが、音がパッとしませんでした。がんばれSD-90。

  2. A Fukandou (不吹堂, also fubukidou or fukazudou, literally "unblowing temple") is a type of Shinto shrine meant for prayers to protect against dangerous mountain wind.
  3. "Izuna" is a Japanese term for the least weasel. "Tobi Izuna" (飛飯綱, "soaring izuna") is the name of a shockwave-flinging sword technique used by Isurugi Raijūta in Rurouni Kenshin (though "izuna" is here spelled with the kanji 威 as opposed to 飯).
  4. 影絶つ (kage tatsu, 'shadow-severing'): most likely a reference to 絶影 (Juéyǐng), a horse ridden by the warlord Cao Cao, so named because it was allegedly fast enough to outrun its own shadow.
  5. 5.0 5.1 5.2 5.3 Pronunciation taken from Kaisendo Direct promo video
  6. 霊殿 (reiden, lit. "spirit palace") - taken from the Palace of the Earth Spirits, literally means "mausoleum."
伽藍 (garan, from a transliteration of Sanskrit saṁghārāma) refers to a type of Buddhist temple; the word がらんどう (garandou, 'vast and empty') is in turn derived from this word.
  7. 桔梗塚 (Kikyouzuka, lit. "bellflower mound"): the grave site of Taira no Masakado's wife, Kikyou no Mae.
  8. 五兵 ('five weapons', 兵 being derived from 兵器) refers to the five major weapons said to have been created by Chiyou in sources such as the Shiben.
  9. 軍神五兵 (gunshin gohei) and "God Force" are taken from the name of Lü Bu's weapon "God Force" in Type-Moon's Fate franchise.
