Iwanagahime (石長姫) is mentioned in Chapter 4 of Cage in Lunatic Runagate by Keine Kamishirasawa when asked by Fujiwara no Mokou what the source of the smoke from Youkai Mountain was. In chapter 26 of Forbidden Scrollery she is called plain looking, but a symbol of permanence, contrary to her sister who is lovely and a symbol of transience. Akyuu prays to her in hopes of extending her lifetime.

Story

Cage in Lunatic Runagate

According to Keine, Iwanagahime is a goddess of immortality and the older sister of Konohana-Sakuyahime. Long ago, the two sisters held a contest to see whether Fuji or Yatsugatake was taller. Yatsugatake won, but Sakuyahime couldn't stand there being a mountain higher than hers, so she broke apart Yatsugatake. However, since Iwanagahime was tired of her sister's attitude, she moved to Yatsugatake, causing Fuji's inextinguishable flame to disappear since Iwanagahime had control of the unchanging.
