  1. A reference to the Vocaloid character Miku Hatsune and the negi she's commonly depicted with. "初" (beginning) is taken from "初音" (Hatsune).
  2. 響界 (kyoukai, "echo world"): a pun on 境界 (kyoukai, "boundary").
  3. 連綿 (renmen) and 輪廻 (rinne): A reference to the Vocaloid characters Len and Rin Kagamine. "鏡" (mirror) is taken from "鏡音" (Kagamine).
  4. A reference to the Vocaloid character GUMI. Her voice is sampled from that of Megumi Nakajima. "愛" (love) is taken from "中島 愛" (Megumi Nakajima).
  5. A reference to the Vocaloid characters Sweet Ann and Kaito, as well the ice cream pop Kaito is commonly depicted with. "改" (V2) is pronounced "kai", as in "Kaito".
  6. A reference to Vocaloid character Luka Megurine and the tuna fish she's commonly depicted with. "巡" (revolution) is taken from "巡音" (Megurine).
  7. A reference to Final Fantasy 11 player Buront-san (ブロントさん), whose brash speech and eccentric personality have made him a popular meme. The "make you go crazy and die" part is one of the many bizarre phrases he's known for.
    Yu Asakawa, who provided the voice for Luka Megurine, is an avid fan of Final Fantasy 11, and Luka is sometimes depicted with Buront-san.
  8. A reference to the Vocaloid character Meiko, who's often depicted as a heavy drinker.
  9. A reference to the Vocaloid character Lapis Aoki. "蒼" (blue) is taken from "蒼姫" (Aoki).
  10. A reference to the Vocaloid song The Disappearance of Miku Hatsune (初音ミクの消失).
