Playable Characters

Reimu Hakurei
Shrine Maiden who Protects Dreams and Tradition

Reimu Hakurei
Playable Character

She really didn't want to do anything (honest!)
The battles would still happen though, so she joined in anyway.
There WAS the option of having a wish granted though...

Spirit who leaves fate to the dream of eternity

Playable Character

The misanthrope lives!(Ahaha~)
The seal was loosened, so she returned to pester Reimu a bit.
She came across the same scene though, and it seemed like she would be granted a wish if she beat everyone.
Having said that, it doesn't seem like she hates humans, at any rate.

Marisa Kirisame
A Being made of Magic and Red Dreams

Marisa Kirisame
Playable Character

A cheerful child who wants a dream made reality (or so I say.)
Not even Reimu understands her all that well yet, it seems like~
Aside from power, there may be something extraordinary to be found. Suffice to say, the witch's interested.

Hardworking witch who dreams of love

Playable Character

I should be careful about this one (no more~)
Due to old age, she has lost the ability to remember anything for very long, like a self-erasing tablet...
I won't say anything else. (This is a tribute after all)

A princess dreaming of beauty in danmaku

Playable Character

She's really 'mastermind-like' isn't she?
This human has a weird personality though, so she's more fitting of something a bit below.
She says she's a civilian, though it seems like she's a cop (how is a princess a civilian, at any rate?)
She set out to find out whether the culprits truly were from another world, or happened to be some noisy kids.
She has too many trinkets to really think of a wish.

Kana Anaberal
Maiden poltergeist who's lost her dreams

Kana Anaberal
Playable Character

She doesn't realize it, but she's rather sad.
She set out to have a wish granted, hoping the ancient's repertoire would include a home.
At least she isn't noisy.

Rikako Asakura
Scientist that looks for dreams

Rikako Asakura
Playable Character

Why don't you use your power already?!
People call her a heretic, but her faith truly is remarkable. At any rate, science really is wonderful (I wonder if she'd gather faith some time)
She's really strong though when her innate magical power is unveiled.
As for motivation, just casual

Rikako Asakura

Alternate outfit

★ 夢を探す科学 ・・・ 朝倉 理香子

★ Scientist that looks for dreams ・・・ Asakura Rikako

There aren't a lot of people in this world that believe in science. Magic rules supreme.
Rikako is one of those rare believers in science in this world. She herself believes that there must be some power beyond magic.
However, she is also a magic user, and a fairly powerful one at that.
Setting aside science for a moment, when she gets serious with her magic power, nothing can stop her, but she doesn't really like magic so this doesn't happen often.

She believes that these ruins were created by science, but ...

Secret Characters

Chiyuri Kitashirakawa
Resident of fantasy that runs through time

Chiyuri Kitashirakawa
Stage 8 Opponent, Playable Character

She comes from a world where people go to college early in their lifetime.
Despite that, she doesn't seem to be that crafty (knowledge is irrefutable though)
I think she has an obsession for villains.
How interesting.

Yumemi Okazaki
Fantasy legend

Yumemi Okazaki
Stage 9 Opponent, Playable Character

She tried to kidnap the heroine once you reach her, for scientific purposes (I am certain)
She wanted to kidnap the heroine in order to dispute all natural laws and prove the existence of magic.
She's kind of a genius for breaking through the barrier, at any rate.
Also, she has an obsession with capes. How interesting.

Non-playable Characters

Reimu's ending

The gift of the genius, granted to the shrine maiden.
She's nuclear powered, so she will last for some time (although she won't be recharged easily.)

Marisa's ending

The gift of the genius, granted to the witch.
She isn't supposed to be ridden, but it's fantasy, so who cares? (Don't blow up the world again, please.)
