- The game is notable for being inspired by Touhou Project, but certain attacks and patterns used in Undertale final boss fights draw heavy inspiration from Touhou. Asriel Dreemurr's Chaos Buster, Shocker Breaker, Star Blazing and all three's upgraded forms (Chaos Blaster, Shocker Breaker II, Galacta Blazing) resemble Master Spark, Earthlight Ray/Shoot the Moon and Milky Way/Asteroid Belt respectively. Oddly enough, all three of these spell cards belong to Marisa Kirisame. Another example of similar bullet patterns is Asriel's Hyper Goner resembling Subterranean Sun, used by Utsuho Reiuji. Additionally, occasional melodies resembling Touhou boss themes are heard in the fight against the Neutral route's final boss.
