Shuushuu Nitori Shoot Shoot Nitori (収集荷取 Shoot Shoot にとり, lit. "Collection Nits") is a Touhou Project danmaku fangame by Twilight Frontier that is based on the game TUMIKI Fighters. This is Twilight Frontier's first danmaku game, and stars Nitori Kawashiro as the protagonist.

Gameplay

Main article: Gameplay

The main mechanic of the game involves collecting items that are dropped from enemies, or found in crates. When collected, the items will snap to Nitori at the point of contact, becoming a part of the character. Different items have their own unique offensive or defensive abilities, resulting in a wide array of firing patterns depending on which items are attached, and where they are attached. Items also have various degrees of weight, so if Nitori has many heavy items attached to her, then her movement speed will be greatly impacted.

The only way to lose a life is for Nitori to be hit while no items are attached to her. If an item attached to Nitori is hit by a bullet, it becomes detached, but can be collected again if grabbed before it flies outside the screen. If Nitori herself is hit, all of the attached items will fly off and scatter around the screen.
