Notes

  1. Ilmenite: Iron Titanium Oxide, FeTiO3. The moon is a reservoir of ilmenite.
  2. Butterfly Dream: a legend of Zhuangzi, who is a famous philosopher in ancient China.
  3. Butterfly Dream Pill - Nightmare Type: a medicine developed by Eirin in Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red. One can dream any nightmare he/she wants to dream.
  4. Red Stone of Aja: a ruby-like gem in a manga "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険)".
  5. In ancient China, it was believed that mercury (quicksilver) is an elixir (of course, it is a deadly poison in fact). It is said that there is a mercury sea in the imperial underground tomb of the first Qin Emperor.
  6. Kinkaku-ji: a golden temple in Kyoto. The truth of the seamlessness is uncertain, because the ceiling had been already burned in a fire.
  7. Mysterium: a coined term meaning "mysterious material", not mystery in Latin. -ium is a suffix attached to names of atoms.
