Mononobe no Futo

Would Mononobe no Futo count as a human? Because her profiles say "Human?" --ChocolateLily 11:10, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Depends, the ? probably means it's unknown whether shes still considered a human or not. Miko and Tojiko were also formerly human. Yuyuko was also human, and also Byakuren. In the case of Miko or Byakuren, it's probably something similar to evolution but on a faster scale where there become a compleatly different species wise. While undeads like Yuyuko or Tojiko wouldn't count since their physical human body is gone. The meaning of the ? should be mentioned with that explanation. --Hikaruxz 11:54, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Originating from humans?

There is a line saying "Therianthropes and hermits appear to be the only other species originating from humans." but aren't zombies and ghosts also former humans?

I don't know about zombies, but yuurei and bourei do come from humans (although some yuurei can also come from other living things as well as nonliving things, or can simply come into existence as yuurei).--としあき 13:54, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
Zombie is too general at this point, as the same with yuurei. Bourei, it's best to wait for Symposium of Post-mysticism for profiles on Soga no Tojiko and possibly Yuyuko since she appeared in TD. Of course, this is dependent on how Symposium of Post-mysticism defines everything. If it's another view point through a character, then you can question it. When you think about it, it's playing safe since if ZUN ever contradicts these books accidentally, it doesn't matter cause it wasn't guarenteed to be true, it was just what the characters were thinking through there own knowledge. When I first added that part of "originating from humans" there, I intended it to be "originating specifically from humans only", and it simply got changed afterwards at some point. --Hikaruxz 14:58, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
