Regarding the recent changes

First things first, I reverted the last change that broke the page and I'd like to kindly remind you that this is a wiki, and anyone can go ahead updating anything if they felt the need to. I'd suggest asking admins if you want your work to be protected from editing.

Please take a look at the edits before jumping into a conclusion that someone is graffitiing. What you've said there was simply unfriendly and discouraging for others to collaborate.

父親の曰く

Although the original suggests "父親", it was read as "親父", and here we know it's a reference to Ichirin, who's constantly being called as "old man". While it is correct, I do think it's more accurate to add "父親" as ruby since the written form suggests a different explanation.

この戦いに義のあってなお

The newer edit is indeed worse as it is over-complicated while just is enough to express "義", but he does have a point that "なお" was dropped here.

物理的に南無宝

I feel like the original dropped "三" in "南無三宝" but that might've been some creative decision. And here the newer edit simply added a footnote explaining the "物理的に" slang as it's fairly hard to interpret. I don't see why it should be removed.

And for the second half, well here's the climax where the protagonist finally comes to fight against Kokoro, the last boss.

悪しき能も見納めよう

When you say "give them one last look" I can't figure out who "them" are. The subject here is Noh, and the speaker wants to put an end to this Noh of evil. There's no other people involved other than Menreiki and the speaker herself.

Therefore, I'd say both are inaccurate regarding the pronouns...

三位一体調き伏せて

Here I believe it's a wordplay of 調伏, which is a Buddhist term that means to cast out evils. As it was read as 説き伏せ, it should be similar to "conquer".

さあ”この名”の命ずるまま!

Another case where written form and spoken form do not match, and I don't see any problems regarding the newly added notes.

I couldn't care less about doujin music that has no legal access outside of Japan, but what I do care is a friendly environment that allows everyone to participate. --DracoGideon (talk) 03:01, 12 March 2018 (UTC)

Thank you DracoGideon for considering validity of my last edit. Honestly, I did make a short stop when I found the main article said that it was completely the copy of Releska's translation from his/her blog. At least some parts of romanization are mistakes — "Chikara o furuu wa", "Tairaka narazu", "koma nari", "gojin wa" "tokifusete". I know my English is natural neither colloquially nor literally. I suspect, however, that a learner of elementary Japanese might memorize a bad reading of kanji from ateji. As long as we focus on this topic, my edit should be more than a dust.
to Releska — It's a shame that I harmed the work you costed pain and art for. The translation of Touhou songs must definetely work as a friendship bridge. But your stance isn't good; nobody can realize one needs to visit your blog when s/he finds some points for fixing. Less worse if you leaved in the main lyric article a comment requesting it.
  • "Old man"
I don't have some concrete opinion, but it should be OK when we can undersand the phrase mentions that it indicates Unzan and he deserves to be trusted like a dad.
