落火流水

The title of this track is based on the proverb 落花流水. Both are pronounced 'rakka ryuusui'. The flower version (落花流水) is intended to be interpreted as 'mutual love', as the falling flowers (落花) want to be carried by the flowing water (流水) and the flowing water wants to carry the flowers. What does this mean for the fire version (落火流水)? I think it means the opposite. After all, when fire lands on the water, it will go out. At the same time, the water will evaporate and turn to steam.

With that in mind, I'm tempted to translate the title as 'Mutually Destructive Love'. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Biggest Dreamer (talk) 08:32, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

That’s nice, but it might as well me “fiery” as in, very passionate. I guess it just really depends on how you interpret and both are pretty valid imo-Yamaxandu (talk) 11:37, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
