:廟 (びょう) most originally has a meaning like "mausoleum" - it is a Buddhist place for enshrining the dead/one's ancestors. Like it is used that way in the name of the tomb of the founder of the Joudo Shinshuu sect: http://www.hongwanji.or.jp/guide/otani/ . However, its meaning can be applied by extension to any grave/tomb and to places enshrining kami and buddhas so it is somewhat vague. (It even has some other meanings which probably do not apply here.) I think "Mausoleum" is still the most accurate translation of the meaning of the character itself, but I can also see good defense for "Temple" depending on the nature of the game, which is still hard to tell. Screens

I've read trackbacks to the ZUN's post and someone noticed "You can't shoot when using slow movement" on the Youmu character selection screen! O_O There's a skull and a soul image in the bottom-left on the gameplay screens, and you need 10 pieces for a Bomb or life. Those red, green, and blue balls (seirei?) are cu~te. :3 Also you can see Reimu entering through something on the title screen - will the action take place in another world?! --.tomi 21:44, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Those balls make me worry that the UFO mechanic is going to show up in this game as well. ~Fenriswaffles 17:33, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Boss assumption

I bet the Extra Stage boss shall be, because the game is about "Divine Spirits", Mima. Discuss. *Shot* ~Derxwna 4:52, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking something like that but...does it really work out like that. I would love for Mima to come back but I think only Reimu, Marisa, Alice and Yuuka are the only ones who will be in the windows series from PC-98. But who knows right. --Hikaruxz 07:27, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

I wouldn't hold my breath on this. Remember "Undefined Fantastic Object"? Most people expected Mima or Shinki to make an appearance and yet it wasn't them. Yes, I agree it would be awesome if Mima did appear in this...but don't get your hopes up. Because of what happened on UFO, I highly doubt it. *sigh* MaronaPossessed 21:10, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Possible Extra Stage Midboss? i mean, who expected Sanae to be the Extra Midboss for SA? Baptiejames 10:57, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Or maybe Mima's pattern will appear on a boss, or even midboss, we will face in this game? Just like how Byakuren had a similar attack pattern to Shinki's ._. --OMGOSHlol 21:34, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

That one is likely, since it seems ZUN is recycling old attacks from the PC98 ages. MaronaPossessed 22:20, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

More Sanae

wooo --Tsukihime 04:25, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Your desire of Sanae is high XD - KyoriAsh 04:30, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm going to have to disagree with you on the celebration. I find Sanae to be quite annoying, not for her personality but for her existance in Gensokyo, as it effectively breaks the atmosphere that Gensokyo is a fantasy world apart from our own. That being said, More Youmu! --Tomato 05:34, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Sir, Yukari broke that long ago. Also, Youmu <3 —Nereid talk 05:35, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Touché! --Tomato 07:09, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Wooo more Sanae regardless. I wonder how Zun drew her this time, after seeing reimu and youmu. --Tsukihime 13:43, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Temple or Mausoleum

Let's decide. It was Mausoleum, which seems to be what most are going with, but changed to Temple a day or two ago. Which one is it for certain? UTW 16:36, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
