Since Miko's classified as divine spirit wouldn't that make her a goddess like Kanako is? --Zodiac21 (talk) 02:43, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

:Yes and no. Kanako and the other specifically stated gods belong to the Eight Million Gods (Yaoyorozu no Kami)of the Shinto religion. Miko, as a human who has achieved godhood, is also powered by faith and worshipped but has no relation to the Eight Million Gods. Now that I think about it, maybe we should change Kanako's (and the other characters who apply) species to "one of the Yaoyorozu no Kami" instead of just "goddess" to avoid confusion.Murasaki (talk) 05:18, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation page?

Should we need a disambiguation page to differientiate between a Miko (a shrine maiden, 巫女) and Miko (the character, 神子)? It would be useful for the use of the shorthand "Miko" for both subjects. --TehSandwich 16:01, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Awesome! Thanks for the disambiguation page, KyoriAsh! --TehSandwich 00:41, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Miko's Hand

Regarding her left hand looking like a right hand, if I force myself to assume Miko's left hand is in a fist/hands closed pose, it doesn't look weird after all. Just that the pointer finger is half closed while the other 3 fingers are hidden from view. Things would change if there was a little more shade in the left hands. ZUN must be hasting(impossible option to be drunk,it makes him more creative.) for that to ignore hand positioning(Just my opinions) Thecoldmark 14:03, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

Don't we need "の" in the name entry?

In the box on the upper right side, we can see "とよさとみみ みこ" on current edition. Akyuu's article alike to it; "ひえだ あきゅう". They ommit "" (of), the equivalent of "Simon de Montfort", "John von Neumann" or "Ignacio de Loyola". On the other hand, Mokou's article has it; "ふじわら の もこう". I prefer including "no" to ommiting it. Don't you think needs adding, don't we? --masuo64 Talk 12:10, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

The の is even in Kokoro's page, so this is just a silly inconsistency. Even in game these names have the の in the furigana, so this isn't really even a question. Good job noticing, by the way.Flan27 (talk) 15:09, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
