Each character has 4 unique spellcards that may be acquired during the game. (These statistics refer to Level 1 of the spellcard)


Reimu Hakurei

  • Dream Sign 「Evil Sealing Circle」: Creates an offensive aura that deals a single hit to all enemies in a 3x3 area around her. Has a one second cooldown and delay.
  • Dream Sign 「Double Barrier」: Creates a defensive aura, decreasing all physical and ranged damage by half for its duration. Also makes her invincible for 3 seconds at the start of the spellcard. Lasts 11 seconds. Cooldown of 16 seconds.
  • Treasure Sign 「Bijou Yang」: Creates an aura which slowly heals Reimu and allies over a period of time. Heals for 110 HP over 10 seconds. Cooldown of 6 seconds. Using this spellcard again before the first instance ends will override it; it will not stack with the first instance.
  • Spirit Sign 「Ghost Hiroshi Rei」: Increases Reimu's attack by 33%. Lasts 60 seconds. Cooldown of 2 seconds. Will not stack.

Marisa Kirisame

Sakuya Izayoi

  • Phantom Sign 「Killing Doll」: Launches 4 knives that pause for a bit, then rush toward their target in quick succession. Knives are not affected by walls but do not pierce targets.
  • Illusion World 「The World」: Creates a circular time rift around Sakuya that slows down any enemies and danmaku that pass through it. Does not slow down enemy attack speed/firing rate. Lasts about 7 seconds. Cooldown and delay of 5 seconds. Rift is static and slow down does not stack.
  • Time Sign 「Private Square」: Self-buff that increases Sakuya's evade and doubles attack speed.
  • Conjuring 「Misdirection」: Warps Sakuya to target location on the screen. Only works on places you can actually be on and works through walls.

Alice Margatroid

  • Magic Sign 「Artful Sacrifice」: Summons a doll 2 tiles in front of Alice that explodes after 3 seconds. Doll does not move and is intangible. Summon up to 4 at a single instance with virtually no cooldown or delay. Can be placed in walls. Explosions are AoE and can be chained with other explosions of the same doll type.
  • Curse Sign 「Straw Doll Kamikaze」: Summons a doll in front of Alice that begins walking forward after 1-2 seconds. Doll explodes on contact with enemies, gates, barrels, chests, or walls. Summon up to 4 at a single instance with virtually no cooldown or delay. Can be placed in walls, but ill-advisable. Explosions are non-AoE and cannot be chained with other explosions. Doll is intangible before moving.
  • War Command 「Dolls of War」: Summons 2 sets of dolls that circle around Alice. 1 set circles around a 3x3 range while the other circles around a 5x5 range. Does melee damage at a somewhat fast rate to anything that comes in contact with them. Lasts about 3.5 seconds. Cooldown and delay of 3 seconds. Dolls do not follow Alice.
  • Curse Sign 「Shanghai Doll」: Summons a doll right in front of Alice that fires blades of energy in 5 directions. Doll does not move and is intangible. Lasts 20 seconds. Cooldown of 20 seconds. 1 second delay.


Notes:

  • Spellcards have level requirements.
  • In order to level up a spellcard, you must have another of the same spellcard.
  • There is an additional level requirement for leveling up spellcards.
  • Higher level spellcards cost more Sp and do more %damage, last longer, and/or have a shorter cooldown(might just be a perspective of lasting longer).
  • Everyone's spellcards will drop regardless of who the current character is or if they are unlocked yet.
  • Floors 1-6 seem to drop the first 2 spell cards for all characters.
  • Floors 7-15 seem to drop the last 2 spell cards for all characters.
  • Reimu's spellcards have a yin-yang orb on it while Marisa's have stars, Sakuya's have a knife, and Alice's have a doll.

Using spellcards empties the Spellcard Bar(the green one). No spellcards can be used until the bar is full again. The filling of the bar is synonymous with a delay. Delays vary from spellcard to spellcard, but is always long after dashing. Cooldowns take precedence over delays on the same spellcard, but other spellcards can be used once the bar is full.
