Touhou Wiki:Community portal/Adding Italics and Quotations

Media titles with Italics

Adding italics is easy. all you have to do it put on both sides of a word or a phrase. However, this page will explain a scheme that Wikipedia appears to be following. For example, We see this link Embodiment of Scarlet Devil and there's no italics, but by changing Embodiment of Scarlet Devil to Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, it will give us Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Even if there's no link (Which looks like <game's title>), please still add italics to the media's title, e.g. Embodiment of Scarlet Devil = Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. The basic idea is to go through the wiki and add italics to all media titles within the wiki. e.g. Games, Music, Comics/Manga, anime etc.

Places not to do this scheme

 • Templates. e.g. the box on the right where it has the main information
 • Song titles

Song titles with Quotations

Exactly as stated as above. Change song titles such as U.N. Owen was her? to "U.N. Owen was her?", and it will give "U.N. Owen was her?". If the song title appears to have italics, please remove them. e.g. U.N. Owen was her? or "U.N. Owen was her?" to "U.N. Owen was her?".
