Stage 1

Marisa	何か嫌な予感がするな	I've got a bad feelin' 'bout this.

Mamizou	この世界じゃない場所の 話をしたいんじゃがな	I wanna talk to you about another world.
Marisa	なんだと？	What?
Mamizou	お前さん 隠し事はないかい	You sure you're not hiding something?
Marisa	何処まで知っている？	How much do you know?
Mamizou	知らないから訊いておる	I'm asking because I don't know.
Marisa	仕方が無い やるか	Welp, not much else to do. Wanna fight?
	BGM: オカルトアラカルト	BGM: Occult à la Carte

Marisa	おいおい負けるつもりで 闘ったんだがな	Hey, hey, I was tryin' to lose on purpose an' all...

Marisa	ほれ それがオカルトボールだ	Here, That's an Occult Ball.
Mamizou	ほほう？ これをくれるのか？	Oh? So you are giving me this?
Marisa	外の世界の事を 調べようとしてるんだろ？ ならばこれを集めて 自分で確かめてみな	You looking into the stuff about the outside world, right? So you need to gather these and check it out yourself.

Stage 2

	博麗霊夢、お前もか	Et tu, Reimu Hakurei?

Reimu	オカルトボール？ ああそれならきっと 持っているんだけど	An Occult Ball? If you want one of those things, I'm sure I have one...

Mamizou	ちょいと貸して くれんかのう	Then could you lend it to me for a bit?
Reimu	うーん これって自分から手放せないのよ	Sorry, I can't get rid of it on my own.
Mamizou	なんと 呪いのアイテムって訳じゃな	What? That sounds like some kind of cursed item.
Reimu	呪い…… ある意味そうかも知れないわね	Cursed... well, it might be, in a sense.
Mamizou	じゃがさっきは魔理沙から 貰ったのじゃが……	I just got one from Marisa, though...
Reimu	じゃあ闘ったのね？ 闘って敗北すると 手放せるのよ	You fought her, right? They leave you if you lose a fight.
Mamizou	面白いルールじゃな じゃあ早速	What an interesting rule. Then let's get this started.

	If player loses
Reimu	もしかして、宇宙人？	Could these be aliens?
	Reimu Hakurei DEFEATED
Reimu	持っていって良いわよ オカルトボール	If you want the Occult Ball, you can have it.
Mamizou	そうかお前さん らしくないな	Really? That's not like you at all.
Reimu	ボールを調べるより先に 準備することがあってね	I have some preparations to make before I investigate the balls.
Mamizou	ほうかほうか なら遠慮せず持っていくぞい	I see, I see. Then I'll just take it without worrying about it.

Stage 3

	通りがかりの都市伝説	An Urban Legend Passing By
	BGM: 顕現した伝承の形	BGM: Forms of Manifested Folklore
Mamizou	なる程なぁ このボールの正体が 掴めてきたぞい	I get it now. I've figured out what these balls really are.

Mamizou	おやお前さんは……？	Oh, it's you...?
Kokoro	ねえアタシ、キレイ？	Hey, am I pretty?

Mamizou	何じゃ 藪から棒に	Well, that came out of nowhere.
Kokoro	アタシ、キレイじゃないの？	Am I not pretty?
Mamizou	あ、その台詞聞いた事あるぞ 口裂け女じゃな？ えーっと何じゃったかな ムースじゃ無くて ワックスでも無くて……	Ah, I've heard those lines before. The Kuchisake-onna? Um, what was it again? Not mousse, not wax...
Kokoro	その先を言わせるか！ キレイじゃないなら死ねい！	I won't let you say it! If I'm not pretty, then die!

Kokoro	ああ整髪料が恐ろしい	Ohhh, hair-styling products are so scary.

Mamizou	思い出したポマードじゃ	Oh, I remember now. It was pomade.
Kokoro	ぎゃあ もうやられてたー	Gah! She got meー
Mamizou	あれ？ お主もオカルトボールを 持ってるのか ちょっと借りてくぞい	Oh? You've got an Occult Ball too? I'll be borrowing that.

Stage 4

	何処まで本気か化け狸	How Serious is the Bakedanuki About This?
	BGM: 真実を知る者	BGM: Those Who Know the Truth
Mamizou	なる程な これは手の込んだボールよのう 外の世界の聖地の石を 集めたものじゃ いわゆるパワーストーン という奴じゃな コレを使えば誰だって 結界を破ることが出来る	I get it now. These balls I've got my hands on... ...are stones gathered from sacred places in the Outside World. Those things they call 'Power Stones', y'know? With these, just about anyone could break the barrier.
	Kasen Ibaraki ENTERS
Kasen	……何をしている まさかお前	...what are you doing? You, of all people.
	思欲せよ！願いを叶える仙人 茨木　華扇	Covet! The Hermit Who Grants Wishes Kasen Ibaraki
Mamizou	見つかってしもうたか	So you found me?
Kasen	命が惜しくば 大人しくしてろと言ったのに 面倒ごとに巻き込まれたくない とか抜かしてたのは フェイクだったか	I thought I told you to leave this alone if you value your life. So were you lying when you said you didn't want to be wrapped up in something troublesome?
Mamizou	お前さん 儂を侮っていないかい？ こんなボール無くても 外の世界と行き来すること くらい自由自在の儂じゃ	Aren't you underestimating me? Even without these balls, I can go to the Outside World whenever I want.
	BGM: 華狭間のバトルフィールド	BGM: Battlefield of the Flower Threshold
Kasen	これ以上は見逃せないな お前は嬉々として外の世界に 戻っていった事にしてやろう	I won't overlook any further interference. I'll just say you happily went back to the Outside World.
	If player loses
Kasen	あと少し大人しくしてくれれば 罠が完成する	If you just behave yourself for a little while longer, our trap will be complete.
	Kasen Ibaraki DEFEATED
Mamizou	危ない危ない こんな所でおさらばする事に なる所じゃった 心配するな お主らの企みは予想付いてたぞ	Ooh, scary. For a second, I thought I was gonna meet my end in a place like this. Don't worry, though. I can hazard a guess as to what you're planning.
Kasen	……	...
Mamizou	オカルトボールの仕掛け人は 外の世界に居るんじゃな	The person behind the Occult Balls is in the Outside World, right?
Kasen	……！	...!
Mamizou	だからそのままでは まともに手が出せない そこで正式に 幻想郷に誘き寄せようとしてる って所じゃないかね？	As long as she's there, you can't lay a hand on her. So you're going to properly lure her into Gensokyo, I imagine?
Kasen	よく判ったわね	You sure know it pretty well.
Mamizou	霊夢と魔理沙の様子がおかしい のを見て何か秘密ごとがある と思ったんじゃ あの二人にも 協力させているんじゃろ？	I thought Reimu and Marisa were acting oddly, like they were hiding something. Are they cooperating with you on this too?
Kasen	あの二人は敵を幻想郷に 引きずり込んでからの 最後の実行部隊の予定よ	Those two were supposed to be the force to implement the last stage of the plan after we drag the enemy into Gensokyo.
Mamizou	なる程な それで二人はボール集めに 執心してないのか	I see, so that's why they're not too eager to gather the balls?
Kasen	だけどそれは 危険な賭になる 正当な理由があるとはいえ 幻想郷のルールを破ることに なるんだからね	However, this is a dangerous gamble. Even if we have a good reason, we'd still be breaking the rules of Gensokyo.
Mamizou	いいじゃろ 外の世界での実行部隊は 儂がやってやろう	Then why not let me be the force who handles the Outside World?
Kasen	は？	Huh?
Mamizou	お主じゃあ、外との干渉が バレたときにあらぬ疑いを 掛けられるじゃろうて 儂なら何があっても 平気じゃからな なあに外の世界の事は 儂が一番よく知っておる このボールを使って 逆に罠を仕掛けてやるぞい	If it was ever found out that you interfered outside, it would raise some false suspicions. For me, though, I'd be fine no matter what happened. And I'm the one who knows the most about the Outside World anyway. I'm going use this ball and set a little trap of my own.

Final Stage

Mamizou	外の世界に居た頃は 余り感じなかったが 改めてみてみると変化は 目まぐるしいもんじゃ 繁栄か衰退か どっちをとっても 変化があると言うことは 生きていると言う事じゃ	I didn't really notice it back when I lived in the Outside World... But, now that I look at it again, the changes are bewildering. Is it thriving, or declining? Well, either way, to experience change is to be alive.

Sumireko	あの尻尾 今度は判りやすい妖怪だわー	That tail... This time it's an easy-to-identify youkaiー
Mamizou	ほう今どき珍しいのう 空を飛ぶ人間なんて そうかそうか お前さんじゃな でもまさかこんな 女学生とは驚いた	My, a human flying in the sky is pretty rare these days. I see, I see, so it's you. I'm surprised it was a female student, though.
Sumireko	女学生って 今どきそんな言い方するー？ ふっるーい	You're calling us 'female students' in this day and age? Man, you're old fashioned.
Mamizou	でも良かったのう いまお前さんのお陰で 幻想郷は大盛り上がりじゃ	But I'm glad. Thanks to you, Gensokyo's gotten pretty exciting lately.
Sumireko	やっぱり？ そうでしょそうでしょ 大きな波紋が立つのなら 石を投げた甲斐があるって もんねぇ	Right? I knew it. If it caused a big ripple, it was worth throwing the stone, after all.
Mamizou	ところでじゃ お前さんの最終的な 目的はなんじゃ	By the way, do you have some kind of ultimate goal for this?
Sumireko	別に？ 面白そうな事見つけたから 試しただけよ 最終的な目的、だなんて そんなめんどくさい事は 考えてないわ	Not really? I found something that looked fun, so I tried it out. I'm not thinking of anything bothersome like an "ultimate goal".
Mamizou	そうかいそうかい まあ今どきの女学……いや 女子高生はそう言うもんかのう しかしそれじゃあ すぐに飽きてしまうぞ そこでどうじゃ 儂と勝負をしないか？	Is that so? Well, that sounds about right for a modern female stu- I mean, teenage schoolgirl. But you'll get bored of that pretty soon. So, how about a match with me?
Sumireko	勝負ですって？	A match?
Mamizou	ここに新しい パワーストーンがある	I've got a new Power Stone right here.
Sumireko	む、貴方はもしや	Wha- could that be...?
	Music stops
Mamizou	そうじゃ気付いておる オカルトボールの正体は パワースポットの石じゃな そして儂が持っているのは 幻想郷のパワーストーンじゃ コレさえあれば幻想郷と 行き来は自在になる	That's right, I caught on. The Occult Balls are really stones taken from Power Spots. And what I'm holding is Gensokyo's very own Power Stone. With just this, you could come and go to Gensokyo whenever you want.

Mamizou	もしお主が勝ったら これをやろう	If you can beat me, I'll give it to you.
Sumireko	面白ーい 欲しい欲しい で、私が負けたら？	Interesting~. I want it, I want it. So, what happens if I lose?
Mamizou	そうじゃのう…… 外の世界を一日案内して 貰えるか？	Let's see... How about you give me a tour of the Outside World for a day?
Sumireko	そんなんで良いの？ じゃあやるよー	Is that all? Then I'm in~
Mamizou	儂が勝つことは判りきって おるんでのう 余り無茶は言わんて	Of course, I'm obviously gonna be the one to win. Don't try too hard, now.
Sumireko	よーし 俄然やる気が湧いてきたわ 私の超能力の見せ所ね！	All rightー I'm getting fired up now. Time to show off my ESP!
	If player loses
Sumireko	よーし これで幻想郷に行き放題！	All rightー Now I can visit Gensokyo as much as I want!
