Moonlight feels right
Hey, I saw your question in Recent changes -- "asete" makes sense to me here, 色褪せてゆく感覚 iroaseteyuku kankaku being something like "fading perception." I'll listen through it and check if you'd like. Shearscape (talk) 13:32, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
- Thank you :) If it's wrong, I'll correct this, but I think your explanation makes sense. I've searched about it a bit and I found this: Lyrics:_Against,_Perfect_Cherry_Blossom. In kan2 and rom2 it says iro-asete, so this could really be right :) Mai88 10:30, 17 August 2012 (CEST)
I'd like to note that your reference is... well, to be honest, I do not consider it an error. I've seen lyrics that omit う in ように many times. I personally consider it just an intentional quirk now, not an error. Arknarok (talk) 15:54, 15 August 2012 (EDT)
- Ok, I didn't really know it, I was wondering why in kan09 the scans were with う and then it was missing in kan10. To make it alike I put う in kan10, but I didn't know whether it was a misprint or not... Thank you for checking it up, I think I'll delete my references. Mai88 10:40, 17 August 2012 (CEST)
The album jacket image issue
Contact an administrator and ask them to delete all of the images you have problem with. After that re-upload the images, but in en.--Doncot (talk) 12:31, 31 August 2012 (EDT)
- Ok, I will. I don't know whether it's a general problem or a problem with the files. Mai88 18:35, 31 August 2012 (CEST)
- I have come across it too, so it's not a problem of your files. When I asked for help, he told me never to upload images via pool (talk page).--Doncot (talk) 12:39, 31 August 2012 (EDT)
- Wow, I'm wondering why the link in Upload File is to the pool... And this talk page should be in a more important section where every newbie (me too) can read this. Thanks for pointing it out :) Mai88 18:59, 31 August 2012 (CEST)

The romaji for "を"
Although both "o" or "wo" can be the romaji transcription for "を", only "o" is considered "correct" in both Hepburn and kunrei-shiki ("wo" is permissible). Reading を as "wo" is an obsolete use. Normally, people don't pronounce like that in today's Japanese. The lyrics' romaji are there for reading convenience, so I feel it's better for the viewers to have the romaji written as how they're "pronounced". (BTW, by following this rule, てゐ and ひななゐ should be written as "Tei" and "Hinanai" [in the romaji section], but nobody seems to practice it. Hmmm....)--Doncot (talk) 14:02, 26 October 2012 (EDT)
- I always use "wo", because I'm used to doing that. I'm okay with others using "o". Arknarok (talk) 17:21, 26 October 2012 (EDT)
- Yes, thanks for explaining the difference between "o" and "wo" to me. I already had a prescience that you can use both and none of them is "wrong" and I agree with you, that it would be better to use the romaji which is pronounced. But as you have said, it's not false if you only use "wo" or "o". I think it's also the same with は: "ha"/"wa" and へ: "he/e", isn't it? Mai88 13:02, 27 October 2012 (CEST)
