  1. 1.0 1.1 The prefixes of Satono's cards are homophones: ginger (茗荷 myoga) and divine protection (冥加 myouga).
  2. Both take () and sasa () mean 'bamboo'; sasa is often used to refer to the broad-leafed variety of bamboo associated with Tanabata.
