The first section looks like a streaming pattern, however the shots are so spaced out you can easily get through it by moving vertically. If you're unsure of what you're doing, just approach this like a regular streaming pattern. Be sure to take out enemies on the left and right as soon as you can to make this section easier.

As long as you focus on one enemy at a time, the second section should also not pose any problem. This is followed by swathes of fairies shooting singular bullets. This is also unlikely to get overwhelming, but take out as many as possible for good measure.

The following section is a bit trickier. You will have an easier time dodging it from the approximate middle of the screen than the bottom. You have to slip into the gaps of the fairy's red bullets while taking into account the few bullets directed at you. Your movement is a bit more restricted, and for good reason (don't go hunting for ''Beast Spirits'' during this time). After a few more fairies, you reach the midboss.

You'll only have to dodge one set of yellow lines and a couple size-shifting bullets before Urumi is taken out. If you're attempting to get the ''Rare Beast Spirit'', be aware of the initial velocity at which the size shifting bullets are thrown at you. Don't get ''too'' close.

The following section is a Touhou classic. You should zig-zag as fast as possible, killing enemies while also creating gaps in their fire. If at any point things go wrong, you can dodge some bullets from the left and right edges of the screen. The following section is pretty random, so just make sure not to be overwhelmed by fairies.

You'll then reach the static star pattern that marks the end of the level. It's a bit tricky to dodge, so take your time and don't rush too much. After a couple other "I Can't Believe It's Not Streaming!" sections you should reach the boss. As always, try to keep around enough ''Beast Items'' to start ''Roaring Mode'' during the pre-fight conversation.

==Secret==
The level's secret ''Rare Beast Spirit'' is '''Cow'''. It is rewarded for defeating the midboss whilst close-quarters.
Once consumed in a ''Roaring Mode'', Cow will change the ''Roaring Mode'' timeout rewards to:
* 1 ''Life Fish'';
* 1 ''Bomb Fish'';
* 3 ''Beast Spirits''.

Overall, whether you should go for this secret or not heavily depends on your skill level.
Depending on your level of comfort within your chosen difficulty, this Secret may or may not be worth the effort. If you are a struggling player and want to attempt to get ''Cow'', you should assume the risk and be ready to restart the run if you fail. The movement itself isn't overly difficult, but the initial velocity of the size-shifting bullets coupled with the higher number of yellow lines in harder difficulties can make this a challenge.

====Easy/Normal====
As was the last stage, this fight is unlikely to make you lose a bomb. However, your movement is generally a bit more limited and requires focus. If you're having trouble, collect ''Beast Spirits'' only when it's absolutely safe (the start and end of Spells is usually pretty safe, but don't dwell in this safety too long).

The first non is extremely similar to the midboss pattern, but we nonetheless advise not to attempt a close-quarters take out this time. Don't forget not to hug the bottom edge of the screen for Spell Card #1 and you should easily capture it.

The second spell can be trickier. If you need to make a risky maneuver to switch from one side of the screen to the other, firstly check the boss's health — it might not even be worth the trouble. The third spell is nothing you haven't seen before. Just don't attempt to collect ''Beast Spirits'' (even if they're the ones you want) during this Spell if you're not already at 4 ''Spirit Items'' in your gauge. You can always collect them during the post-fight conversation.

Stage Portion

Survival

Easy/Normal

Experienced players shouldn't need to focus too much during this stage, in both senses of the term.

Your movement is a bit more restricted, and for good reason (don't go hunting for Beast Spirits during this time). After a few more fairies, you reach the midboss.

You'll only have to dodge one set of yellow lines and a couple size-shifting bullets before Urumi is taken out. If you're attempting to get the Rare Beast Spirit, be aware of the initial velocity at which the size shifting bullets are thrown at you. Don't get too close.

As always, try to keep around enough Beast Items to start Roaring Mode during the pre-fight conversation.

Secret

The level's secret Rare Beast Spirit is Cow. It is rewarded for defeating the midboss whilst close-quarters.
Once consumed in a Roaring Mode, Cow will change the Roaring Mode timeout rewards to:

 • 1 Life Fish;
 • 1 Bomb Fish;
 • 3 Beast Spirits.

Overall, whether you should go for this secret or not heavily depends on your skill level.
Depending on your level of comfort within your chosen difficulty, this Secret may or may not be worth the effort. If you are a struggling player and want to attempt to get Cow, you should assume the risk and be ready to restart the run if you fail. The movement itself isn't overly difficult, but the initial velocity of the size-shifting bullets coupled with the higher number of yellow lines in harder difficulties can make this a challenge.

Boss Fight

Survival

Easy/Normal

As was the last stage, this fight is unlikely to make you lose a bomb. However, your movement is generally a bit more limited and requires focus. If you're having trouble, collect Beast Spirits only when it's absolutely safe (the start and end of Spells is usually pretty safe, but don't dwell in this safety too long).

Just don't attempt to collect Beast Spirits (even if they're the ones you want) during this Spell if you're not already at 4 Spirit Items in your gauge. You can always collect them during the post-fight conversation.
