 This is my first Sealing Club CD, something I really wanted to release.
I want you to listen really hard to the really cool guitar! The first half of "Illusion Distortion" is told from Merry's POV, then the second half is from Renko's POV.
"The Digital Girl Laughs Twice" has a bit of an adventurous, sci-fi feel to it. The Stephen Hawking of the Sealing Club's world is a young girl, basically. (What am I even saying?)
"Speaking of Abstract Theories at the Cafe Terrace" is a song about Merry looking at Renko.
I wrote "Distance: Contrast" based on the impression that long-distance relationships would be possible in a world with amazing vehicles like Hiroshige.
Look, I just want the Sealing Club to get all smoochy-smoochy...
