Give Praise Unto Me, and Celebrate My Miracles by IOSYS
Original Romanized Translation

Tatae yo, ware wo, yama wo, mizuumi wo Agame osore yo, shinkou wo sasage yo

Give praise unto me, the mountain, the lake Respect and fear me, and offer me your faith

Matsure, kiseki wo, kaze wo, maboroshi wo Utai odore yo, toutoki sugata e

Celebrate my miracles, the winds, the illusions Sing and dance for that revered figure

Daichi wa nagare yuki tenjin e mukau Iwao wa kasanarite fuuhaku e nozomu

The earth itself keeps flowing towards Tenjin The rocks pile upon each other, facing the Fuujin

Kamisha ni mashimasu Moriya no kami ga Miwatari kudarite okayoi ni naru

Our Moriya god in the Upper Shrine [1] Gets out and pass over the lake to meet her lover [2]

Oo itetsuku sono michi wa nami wo mo tsuranuku

Oh, that frozen path runs even through the waves [3]

Tatae yo, ware wo, yama wo, mizuumi wo Agame osore yo, araburu mitama wo

Give praise unto me, the mountain, the lake Respect and fear the raging spirits

Matsure, kiseki wo, ame wo, gensou wo Warai sakebe yo, subete wo wasurete

Celebrate my miracles, the rain, the illusions Laugh and shout out, and forget everything

Narase Yasaka no suzu, chikara aru hibiki Narase Sanagi no suzu, ogosoka naru oto [4]

Ring the Bell of Yasaka; power blesses its echoes Ring the Bell of Sanagi; its cry is austere, majestic

Nanatsu no tatae to nanatsu no ishi wa Yutaka na minori wo motarasu negai

The seven trees and seven stones [5] Bestow upon us rich harvest

Oyama ni mashimasu Mishaguji-sama ga Himorogi kudarite ohairi ni naru

Our Lord Mishaguji in mountain Comes down to take residence in the sacred land

Oo hofure yo, sono inochi taereba noboran

Oh, slaughter, for if your lives fade away your spirits will ascend into heaven

Tatae yo, ware wo, yama wo, mizuumi wo Agame osore yo, shinkou wo sasageyo

Give praise unto me, the mountain, the lake Respect and fear me, and offer me your faith

Matsure, kiseki wo, kaze wo, maboroshi wo Utai odore yo, toutoki sugata e

Celebrate my miracles, the winds, the illusions Sing and dance for that revered figure

Kamisha ni mashimasu Mishaguji-sama ga Osanaki karada ni ohairi ni naru

Our Lord Mishaguji in Upper Shrine Comes to take residence in this young body [6]

Oo, hofure yo, sono inochi taereba noboran

Oh, worship me, for if your lives fade away your spirits will ascend to heaven

Tatae yo, ware wo, yama wo, mizuumi wo Agame osore yo, hakanaki monora yo

Give praise unto me, the mountain, the lake Respect and fear me, you fleeting people

1. ^  Many things related to Moriya Shrine and the characters there are inspired by Suwa Grand Shrine. It consists of the Upper Shrine (Kamisha, 上社) and the Lower Shrine (Shimosha, 下社). The Upper's director (Oohoori, 大祝) was treated as if he were a god.
2. ^  "Men come to lover's home regularly many times" (kayou, 通う) is Japanese traditional style of proposing marriage. And it's said that the god of the Upper Shrine and that of the Lower Shrine are in marry. In this case, it's probable that god of Moriya, Suwako, go to meet her counterpart, Kanako.
3. ^  This line borrows Omiwatari, which is one of seven strange tales of Suwa Grand Shrine: the god of the Upper Shrine splits the ice on the Suwa Lake and makes the path on it every year in order to meet his counterpart, the god of the Lower Shrine.
4. ^  Sanagi Suzu (サナギ鈴 or 佐奈伎鈴) is one of legacies of Jinchoukan, Director of the Lower Shrine.
5. ^  There are seven tatae (湛), the place where priests call their god to come down in this world. Or Himorogi. And it is said that a certain seven stones and seven trees are tatae. But somehow, tatae are now confused with trees as their name.
6. ^  The director of the Upper Shrine, Oohoori (大祝) was treated as if he were a god, because the god resides in the body of child in Oohoori family.
