Review

Originality of method is an extremely important factor in producing a successful arrange album, and 8BiTouhou 2 certainly achieves this. The major selling point of the album is the authenticity of it, as it gives the listener a feel of what Touhou music would have been like if the games were on a console such as the Nintendo Entertainment System. The melody of the original themes is captured perfectly, and is ideal for those who dislike the melody of the original being smothered by aspects such as percussion. It also proves suitable for listeners who are looking for something a little different to listen to, or praise quirkiness.
