Burgeoning Tresses of Longevity
Touhou
Gameplay
While the game mostly features standard Touhou gameplay, this game can be played with up to two players on a single system. The game also incorporates the cherry system from Perfect Cherry Blossom
Story
On a busy spring day, an experiment in Gensokyo causes a mysterious scent to spread all over Gensokyo. The scent makes every girl's hair grow to the height of their body. Unsatisfied by the effects, Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Aya Shameimaru, and Sanae Kochiya set out to find the origin of the scent, which appears to have started in Eientei (called the Palace of Eternity in this game).
Music
Like Song of Divine Tempest, the soundtrack for this game was composed by "Prophet Driller" (under the name Susumu Takajima). The samples for the instruments originate from keyboards and synthesizers from the late 1980s and early 1990s and are compressed to fit within the Super Nintendo's audio hardware. Many songs in the game's soundtrack started off as PC-98 originals and a few were first composed for the albums Prelude of a Joyous Feast and Mystical Towngirl and Transcending Heron, both of which were also produced by Drillimation Systems.
