Playable Characters

Movement Speed: Slow
Normal Attack
Fires a slow-moving projectile in the direction you are facing. Only two can be on the screen at a time.
Sub-shot Options
パスウェイジョンニードル ("Persuasion Needle")
Fires a fast-moving projectile that penetrates enemies. Can be aimed in four directions (North, East, South and West). Because of its decent damage per second and long range, it's a choice weapon against bosses.
博麗アミュレット ("Hakurei Amulet")
Fires a slow-moving amulet straight ahead of you before it begins to curve around in a circular manner. Only two can be on the screen at a time, and each will go in a separate direction. The first will curve to the right, the second to the left.
陰陽玉 ("Yin-Yang Orb")
Fires a long-range parabolic orb towards the top of the screen, causing damage where it lands. Can fire over scenery and hit enemies on high ground, but does no splash damage.

Movement Speed: Fast
Normal Attack
Shoots a medium speed projectile in the direction you are facing. Only three can be on the screen at a time.
Sub-shot Options
マジックミサイル ("Magic Missile")
Fires a single bullet like her normal shot that does more damage, has more range and travels faster.
マジックナパーム ("Magic Napalm")
Fires a medium-range parabolic orb in the direction you are facing, causing splash damage where it lands. Can fire over scenery and hit enemies on high ground.
イリュージョンレーザー ("Illusion Laser")
Fires a narrow laser towards the top of the screen, doing continual damage to anything within the beam.

恋符「マスタースパーク」 ("Love Sign -Master Spark-")
Movement Speed: Medium
Normal Attack
Fires a short range, fast-moving narrow bullet in the direction you are facing. Max 3 onscreen at once.
Sub-shot Options
ジャック・ザ・リッパー ("Jack the Ripper")
Fires a knife automatically targeted to the nearest enemy.
ミスディレクション ("Misdirection")
Fires 3 knives, one in front of you and one to each side.
エターナルミーク ("Eternal Meek")
Fires several small, short-ranged and low damage projectiles like a shotgun randomly in front of you.

時符「ザ・ワールド」 ("Time Sign -The World-")
Movement Speed: Fast
Normal Attack
Fires a short range, fast-moving bullet in the direction you're facing. Max 2 (I think) onscreen at once.
Sub-shot Options
天人の五衰 ("Five Signs of the Dying Deva")
Fires 5 bullets towards the top of the screen, the bullets are spread out in an arc.
二百由旬の一閃 ("200 Yojana in 1 Slash")
Creates a slash around 4 cm (just under 2 inches) in front of you. Decent damage, can hit enemies in a line.
一念無量劫 ("Ageless Obsession")
Youmu swings around, holding her sword out. This does insane damage but you need to get pretty close to use it.

人剣「現世斬」 ("Human Sword -Slash of Present-")
Fires a long, narrow laser towards the top of the screen.
Movement Speed:
Normal Attack
Fires three projectiles at an angle in front of you.
Sub-shot Options
ディマーケイション ("Demarcation")
Fires two lasers out to your sides before panning around.
ムーンライトレイ ("Moonlight Ray")
Fires a short-ranged, slow-moving orb that ignores scenery, momentarily paralyzing the first enemy it hits. Does no damage.
ヒプノティクスパイア ("Hypnotic Spire")
Fires nine pairs of bullets around you in a circle before momentarily stopping and circling around you while radiating outwards.
Spell Card
夜符「ナイトバード」 ("Night Sign -Night Bird-")
Fires a lot of feather-shaped bullets towards the top of the screen, eventually making a huge cloud of them. Once bullets hit the top of the screen, they fall back down, only a lot slower and a lot smaller.

Fires 2 blue bullets at 45 degree angles from where you're facing.
Sub-shot Options
フリーズアクトレス ("Freeze Actress")
Fires 5 bullets either in front of you or a bit to the side. It then changes angle and fires another 5, continuing until around 40 are fired this way. When it's firing, you can still move about freely but you won't turn around.
ダイヤモンドブリザード ("Diamond Blizzard")
Makes little "explosions" of bullets to either side of you. Only two explosions (one per side) can be happening at once.
リンガリングコールド ("Lingering Cold")

凍符「パーフェクトフリーズ」 ("Freeze Sign -Perfect Freeze-")
Movement Speed:
Normal Attack
Like the starter characters, she just fires a bullet in the direction she's facing. It does have a doll sprite instead of a bullet sprite though.


Sub-shot Options
博愛の仏蘭西人形 ("Benevolent French Dolls")
紅毛の和蘭人形 ("Red-Haired Dutch Dolls")
Throws 4 dolls towards the top of the screen. They behave like regular bullets.
輪廻の西蔵人形 ("Reincarnated Tibetan Dolls")
白亜の露西亜人形 ("Chalk-White Russian Dolls")
Throws a doll (probably Hourai dolls) over scenery and cliffs until it hits the ground. It then explodes and fires 4 shots diagonally (or horizontal/vertically if you threw the doll at a diagonal).
