TouhouTenkarou(Heavenly Flower Tower)~ Frantically Forbidden Fruit (東方天華楼 ~ Frantically Forbidden Fruit) is a fan-made Touhou Project script for the Touhou Danmakufu ph3 shooting game engine, made by Gore of Re.Phantasmagoria of Imagine Breaker. A first demo was released on April 1 2016, featuring 3 stages. The full game was released on July 31, 2017.

This game is followed by Bubbling Imaginary Treasures.

Gameplay

The gameplay combines elements from Double Dealing Character and Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, with a few significant differences. It also happens to feature elements similar to that of Wily Beast and Weakest Creature (though this game came first). Like LoLK, the game has two gameplay modes—Paradise and Legacy—and stages and boss fights are separated in chapters. Bullets can be grazed for some time and you'll get multiple points.

The special mechanic of the game is the inclusion of fruit, collected from some enemies, after ending chapters, or collecting a number of items in the Point of Collection (DDC-style). In Paradise mode, collecting fruit fills a jar of juice, and if the jar is filled with the most of a specific type of fruit, the player will get a jar of that fruit and the related power-up. This is similar to Roaring Mode and Berserk Roaring Mode in WBaWC, but this game uses a more in-the-moment system. Apple juice doubles your items, Orange juice turns all onscreen bullets into power items, Banana juice gives you a wider graze area, Watermelon juice gives the player stronger fire, Melon juice increases your bomb gauge, Peach juice constantly fills up your life gauge, and Star Fruit increases every spectrum of the juice you make (although it's unknown if the star fruit has its own effect). You can have up to 3 filled jars, and use them (all at once) by pressing C.

Items get instantly collected while the juice effects are activated, similar to the Season Releases in Hidden Star in Four Seasons, and spell card bonuses are doubled. In Paradise Mode, you have a health gauge, allowing you to get hit multiple times without losing a life. When getting hit, the player will hear a sound effect and a number will be shown detailing the amount of health lost.

Legacy Mode removes the fruit and lifebar mechanics, making the system similar to DDC.

Story

It is unusually hot, and fruit started sprouting everywhere. The girls decide to chill out by making juice with all that fruit. After finally deciding that there's a new incident, Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, Sanae, Youmu, and Reisen try to investigate a bit. Yuuka was watching them, and although it's the usual to leave the solving of incidents to humans, she decides to have some fun.

Music

As of now, the game features 26 arrangements of official songs made by artists such as Shower, Yoiyami, maceknight, etc.
