Stage Walkthrough

  • As the WP Bonus implies, the best strategy is to just charge forward. Having Youmu cast Accel is optional; you'll likely find that five turns is plenty.
    • The Human Village provides numerous terrain bonuses, but Rumia only starts moving past turn 3 so waiting around isn't effective.
  • Reimu will hopefully learn Focus in this chapter; this should be the only spirit Reimu will be casting for quite a while, especially if you stick with the economy option of only upgrading her Mobility twice.
  • Take the time to feed Keine kills. Getting Support Defense on her is crucial.
  • Don't forget that Keine starts with Support Attack; speed killing Rumia becomes so much easier when you have an extra attack every turn.
  • Night Bird's danmaku halves the accuracy of Ranged weapons... which is completely pointless since all of your strongest attacks at this point are Melee.
    • But if for some reason you really want to finish things with Persuasion Needle, feel free to use your bomb to clear out the danmaku.
