Events

  • At the start of stage, Lily White will change to her normal form, and cast Spirit automatically (giving herself +10 power).
  • When any of Lunasa, Merlin or Lyrica is defeated, they will combine into a single unit (at the same position of where Lunasa is), and declare their first spell card.
  • On the player phase after Prismrivers combine, or if Prism Concerto is broken on the same turn, the three fairies of light will also combine (appearing at where Sunny is), and the defeat condition will change. The Three Fairies of Light will automatically cast Valor, while Prismriver Sisters will cast Spirit.

Stage Walkthrough

  • As the chapter title implies, the next chapter is a continuation of this one. Unlike the 2-part battle in Kou, here your characters will recover 50% HP, MP, SP and ammo count going into the next battle, while half of their power above 100 will be kept as well. Characters who are at below 100 power will keep whatever their power is, and characters with initial power bonus like Tipsy or Frozen Frog will get their bonus again after this calculation. Sanae's Faith gauge will also be halved going into the next battle. PS usage count and item will be restored, so you can use them without worry. Bombs you obtain on this map will carry over to the next. Any characters who are defeated will start the next battle at only half HP, MP, SP and ammo, while their power will be reset to 100, so try to avoid that (or let them sit out on the next part).
  • Since there is no time limit to this battle and you want to be somewhat conservative going into the next battle, you may want to take this battle slowly. Use all your consumables before ending the battle as well, since they'll be restored anyways.
  • There is a new mob on this stage. The large ghosts have 8000 HP and can spread a wide danmaku with very strong evasion penalty. It does not hinder movement much, however, and they cannot attack units within 1-2 squares, so getting in close is the best way to take them down. They are worth quite a bit of points, either, so having Shou taking them down can be quite profitable.
  • The Prismrivers each have a different effect attached to their danmaku - Lunasa's decreases your units' power, Merlin's increases enemy units' power, while Lyrica's increase enemy units' accuracy. You will likely have to deal with all of them if you want to fulfill the WP condition, so try to have characters who are not so dependent on power to take on Lunasa, and avoid sending Real-type units against Lyrica. Merlin's danmaku doesn't really need much attention as all Prismrivers have Morale, so they'll be hitting 150 fast enough without Merlin's help. You only need to defeat one of them to start the next card, but which one you defeat will affect the next danmaku effect, so keep that in mind as you choose which sister to take down.
  • After the Prismrivers combine, Prism Concerto's danmaku will take on the effects of the two sisters not defeated, as well as a third effect based on the sister you defeated. Lunasa's new effect increases power requirement of all your units' weapons by 5(E)/10(N)/15(H)/20(L); Merlin's new effect increases enemy's maximum power by 10(E)/15(N)/30(H)/50(L), while Lyrica's new effect causes ammo-based weapons to use up 2(E)/3(N)/4(H)/5(L) ammos per usage. If you limit your attacks to MP-based weapons, Lyrica's new effect is probably the easiest to deal with.
  • On the next turn, you will have access to the only combination unit in this game. It's worth reading up about how their unit works. In particular, you can freely decombine them, have Luna and Star attack, then combine them and act again with the combined unit. Also, any experience and PP you obtain as a combined unit will be given to all of the three fairies. The three fairies are extremely strong for their cost and well worth using for the few chapters left in this campaign, so take the time to try them out and figure out how to work with them.
  • The Prismrivers' second spell, Ghostly Wheel Concerto Grosso, increases their stats to the highest of each sisters - but the only stat which sees significant increase is Defense, so there's no real need to waste a bomb on it (you can carry them to the next part. The attack itself has a blindspot at 1-2 range, so your close range attackers won't need to deal with the attack at all.
