This is a vocabulary of the most common terms and abbreviations used in Touhou discussions.

0-9

• 1CC — 1 Credit Clear (alternatively, 1 Coin Clear) — Completing the game from start to finish without using continues (necessary to see the good endings in most Touhou games). Credit refers to the arcades where the term first started. Each credit is usually bought with a single coin.
• 1LC — 1 Life Clear — Completing the game on single credit without losing any lives in the process.

• BAiJR - Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red
• Bougesshou - A variation of Bougetsushou. It is a word form made by a euphonic change.
• Bougetsushou - Japanese name of the storyline consisting of Silent Sinner in Blue and Cage in Lunatic RunagateKanji:儚月抄(Bōgetsushō)
• Bunkachou - Japanese name of Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red, Shoot the Bullet, and Double Spoiler Kanji:文花帖(Bunkachō)

• Gumonkuju - Japanese name of Symposium of Post-mysticism Kanji:求聞口授(Gumonkuju)
• Gumonshiki - Japanese name of Perfect Memento in Strict Sense Kanji:求聞史紀(Gumonshiki)

• Hisouten - Japanese name of Scarlet Weather Rhapsody Kanji:緋想天(Hisōten)
• Hisoutensoku - Japanese name of Touhou Hisoutensoku Kanji:非想天則(Hisōtensoku)
• HM - Hopeless Masquerade
• HP - Hit Points, the amount of damage an enemy (usually boss or midboss) can sustain before dying, leaving the scene or changing form.
• HRtP - Highly Responsive to Prayers
• HSiFS - Hidden Star in Four Seasons
• Hyouibana - Japanese name of Antinomy of Common Flowers Kanji:憑依華(Hyōibana)

• Ibarakasen - Japanese name of Wild and Horned Hermit Kanji:茨歌仙(Ibarakasen)
