Gyoku () is the God of Hirano's Shrine and is Hirano Sakurasaki's yin-yang that has its own mind and thus can communicate with Hirano. It has spiritual power, so it allows Hirano to attack. It was first introduced in the C74 version of Banshiryuu as Hirano's support partner and "the second protagonist of this game". It's unknown whether it's male or female.

Background Information

Gyoku is likely to have being inspired from the Yin-Yang Orb owned by Reimu Hakurei, the protagonist of the Touhou Project. It states in his profile that "it takes a form that was seen somewhere", which is very likely to be referring to the Yin-Yang Orb. Gyoku is also quite similar to SinGyoku's first form that their appearance and name are also similar. It also has a resemblance to the Flower-Tank.

Its name is Gyoku (). The kanji literally means "Ball", "Sphere" or "Jade" (a green gem). As such, its design simply looks like a typical taijitu (yin-yang symbol).
