Notes
- ↑ A dupion, known as a tamamayu (玉繭, lit. 'orb cocoon' or 'jade cocoon') in Japanese, is a silkworm cocoon made by two worms at once.
- ↑ One of Matarajin's many aspects is Ena-Tenjin (穢那天神), who embodies afterbirth (ena (胞衣)) and the sanctity and taboos associated therewith. Ena-Tenjin is worshiped both as an earth mother goddess, and as a god whose flames remove the impurity of afterbirth. (Source: 闇の摩多羅神 / Yami no Matarajin, by Minato Kawamura)
- ↑ Prince Shoutoku uses a sword of the same name.
- ↑ This spell's name is similar to Hata no Kokoro's "Dance of Empty-Hearted Masks: Noh of Darkness" (「仮面喪心舞 暗黒能楽」). Sarugaku is a predecessor of Noh, and Hata no Kawakatsu, who created the masks Kokoro is made of in the original myths, is said to have been an incarnation of Matarajin.
- ↑ "Anarchy" and "ana-aki" (穴あき, lit. 'holed') sound almost the same in Japanese. That is why Okina throws the doughnut-shaped bullets in this Spell Card.
