- ↑ 幻影 (gen'ei, illusion/mirage/phantom/etc.): potential reference to 幻影城 (Gen'eijou, lit. "Phantom Castle"), which is both the title of a 1951 collection of critical mystery fiction analysis by author Edogawa Ranpo, and of a Japanese mystery magazine published in the 1970s.
- ↑ Possibly a reference to the 1997 Japanese murder mystery Jack the Poetical Private. The novel, along with others in the same series, is referenced throughout several of Sakuya's Spell Cards in the early Windows games.
