Notes
- ↑ When we read this dialogue after another phrase — "fight with your feet off the ground" — and Reimu's ability "Capable of flying in the air", Yuyuko is technically snobbing Reimu to point out that she and her way of battle isn't well-grounded to see that her legs are in the air.
- ↑ You must remember Gulliver in country of Lilliput, Alice standing in legion of dolls.
- ↑ The name of morning glory's petal is "you" (曜), which consists of the names of Seven Luminaries or Patchouli's magic.
- ↑ The European umbrella was once called bat umbrella (蝙蝠傘 koumori-gasa). And of course Yuyuko should be remembering in her mind that Remilia can transform herself into a cloud of bats and she never goes out without parasol.
- ↑ Double meanings: Yukari's lookings get fat, and her personality gets mild.
- ↑ A pun of Suika and Suica, the smart card on train lines around Japanese capital city.
- ↑ There is a Japanese idiom "to be grounded" "firmly realistic"; lit."get one's legs on the ground" (地に足のついた chi ni ashi no tsuita). And it is a wordplay related to Japanese common sense of ghosts, they have no legs and floats above the ground.
