A Katawa-guruma (片輪車 lit. crippled wheel) is a being similar to a Wanyuudo in many ways being that they're always rolling along the roads of Japan, occasionally stopping in towns to hunt for impure souls to drag back to her hellish masters, but instead of a giant monk's head stuck in a wheel, a Katawa-guruma appears as a naked woman riding on a burning singular ox-cart wheel, suffering and burning with pain for all of eternity. Katawa-guruma inflict powerful curses on anyone who sees it, and the curse can spread through rumor and gossip about said curse, which can eventually bring calamity onto the entire village. Despite this, Katawa-guruma have been known to show mercy at times unlike their male counterparts.
