真っ暗な道を、男は歩いていた。 そこに俄かに啜泣く少女の声。	makkura na michi wo, otoko wa aruiteita. soko ni niwaka ni susurinaku shoujo no koe.	The man was walking down a pitch dark street, When all of a sudden he heard the sobs of a young girl.
何故泣くのですか、男は声をかけた。 私でよければと、差し伸べた手に返る言葉	naze naku no desu ka, otoko wa koe wo kaketa. watashi de yokereba to, sashinobeta te ni kaeru kotoba	“Why do you cry?” The man called out to her. “If you don’t mind me asking.” He reached out his hand, and she replied:
“謂れのない辱めに、悲しくて泣いているのです。” “この身に受けた誹りの声 「醜い盗人」と呼ぶのです。”	“iware no nai hazukashime ni, kanashikute naiteiru no desu.” “kono mi ni uketa soshiri no koe ‘minikui nusubito’ to yobu no desu.”	“I have suffered a terrible disgrace I do not deserve. “謂れのない辱めに、怒りで震えているのです。” “この身に受けた誹りの声 「卑しい物乞い」と呼ぶのです。”	“iware no nai hazukashime ni, ikari de furueteiru no desu.” “kono mi ni uketa soshiri no koe ‘iyashii monogoi’ to yobu no desu.”	“I have suffered a terrible disgrace I do not deserve.
