Defiler(s) by 凋叶棕
Original Romanized Translation

The man was walking down a pitch dark street, When all of a sudden he heard the sobs of a young girl.

naze naku no desu ka, otoko wa koe wo kaketa. watashi de yokereba to, sashinobeta te ni kaeru kotoba

“Why do you cry?” The man called out to her. “If you don’t mind me asking.” He reached out his hand, and she replied:

“iware no nai hazukashime ni, kanashikute naiteiru no desu.” “kono mi ni uketa soshiri no koe ‘minikui nusubito’ to yobu no desu.”

“I have suffered a terrible disgrace I do not deserve. So I am crying because I am sad, “For I have been showered with voices of slander. “A ‘dirty thief’ is what they call me.”

oo, son’na hidou. yurusarete ii no ka to. otoko no me ga ikari ni moeru.

“Ah, what injustice! How could this evil go unpunished!?” The man’s eyes burned with rage.

sono hitomi no saki de shoujo wa doushite da ka. dokoka obieta you na me wo otoko e to jitto muketeita.

At the end of his gaze, the young girl – but why I wonder? – had A somewhat fearful look in her eyes as she stared straight back at him.

The man was walking down a dim and dubious street, When all of a sudden he heard the angry wails of a young girl.

naze okoru no desu ka. otoko wa koe wo kaketa. watashi de yokereba to, sashinobeta te ni kaeru kotoba

“Why are you angry?” The man called out to her. “If you don’t mind me asking.” He reached out his hand, and she replied:

“kono mi ni uketa soshiri no koe ‘iyashii monogoi’ to yobu no desu.”

“I have suffered a terrible disgrace I do not deserve. So I am shaking in anger, “For I have been showered with voices of slander. “A ‘lowly beggar’ is what they call me.”

oo, son’na bougyaku. yurusareru hazu mo nai to. otoko no me ga ikari ni moeru.

“Ah, what tyranny! How could this evil go unpunished!?” The man’s eyes burned with rage.

sono hitomi no saki de shoujo wa doushite da ka. dokoka sameta you na me wo otoko e to zutto muketeita.

At the end of his gaze, the young girl – but why I wonder? – had A somewhat sobered look in her eyes as she stared straight back at him.

hitori hitori shoujotachi no koe sono subete ga kaku mo itamashiku

One by one, the young girls’ voices/screams, Oh, how painful they all were to hear

“iware no nai hazukashime” ni tohou ni kureta mono ga soko ni

Such were those that fell prey to such undeserved disgrace/an unforgivable game.

dare tomo tsukanu koe no iwaku

According to an unidentified source:

“asamashii baita” ga soko ni ite. “samoshii fumidai” ga soko ni ita.

There, lay a “shameful slut”. There, lay a “pathetic wretch”.

naraba to otoko wa, takaraka ni ai wo utau sono me no hikari wo tsuyoku shite

“Well then.” The man raised his voice to declare his love Bolstering the light within his eyes

aa, sukuwanakereba, soshite, mamoranakereba to. sou, aisanakereba to. soushite shoujo tachi ni sono te wo nobashiteiku, defiler.

“Ah, I must save you! Then, I must protect you! Yes, I must love you!” Reaching out to the young girls, the defiler proclaimed.

sono michi no saki wo.

Further down the road,

otoko wa aruiteita.

The man walked.

sono otoko no ashimoto ni wa.

And at his feet, were.

aisareta, nare no hate no – shoujotachi.

The corpses of the young girls he had “loved” to death.
