Translator's Notes – 十六夜 (izayoi), right at the beginning. An ancient japanese way to call the day after the day of the full moon (十五夜～juugoya). Obviously, that’s also a pun/reference to Sakuya’s surname itself, Izayoi. – 狂い咲いた月の光 (the out of place light of the moon). The verb “kuraizaku” it’s not exactly how I translated it. It means “To bloom out of season”. If the subject was a flower, I would have kept this meaning, but being the subject the moon’s light, I found it… strange. So, I wrote “out of place” instead of it, being fitting and having almost the same meaning. – 紅く汚れた手でも　迷い無く誓うわ (I promise not to lose myself even if my hands will be stained in crimson). Double possible meaning in both segments. First of all, “stain” is not exactly “stain”, rather than “get dirty”. I didn’t know how to put this elegantly, so I choose “stained”. Second, the verb “mayou” (迷う) has a lots of meaning. I translated here as “not losing myself”, but could also mean (with the “NAKI” that negates the verb) “not losing one’s way”, or “without hesitating” or such.
