Marine Benefit/Characters

From Touhou Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Most of the characters in Marine Benefit are original and non-existent in the Touhou Project. The following three are, however, officially part of the Touhou Project and are playable characters in Marine Benefit, each with three different shot types.[1] The rest below are the originals.

Reimu Hakurei
Shrine Maiden of Paradise, Red Shrine Maiden

Reimu Hakurei
Playable Character

The familiar shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine.

She does not seem to realize the perils of an abrupt flood of water.
She was fed up with the summer, along with all the sweat coming out of her armpit.
Having been called upon by Yukari Yakumo, Reimu went diving in the sea to cool down.
Could someone who's used to floating find her way to "that place" in the ocean?

Marisa Kirisame
Ordinary Magician, Blue Magician

Marisa Kirisame
Playable Character

An ordinary magician living in Gensokyo. She has a mania for collecting things.

She had suddenly become fascinated with the ocean.
Because she was headed to the sea, she sailed out in blue clothes.
She was also looking for a sailor suit, but it seems she couldn't find one.
Her Mini-Hakkero should be able to remain rust-free, even in large amounts of saltwater.

Sanae Kochiya
Newbie Goddess of the Mountain, Green Shrine Maiden

Sanae Kochiya
Playable Character

A shrine maiden that lives in the Moriya Shrine on Youkai Mountain. She isn't used to youkai extermination.

She was troubled by the continuing rain.
She went to investigate the sea by the order of Kanako,
even though she thought that investigating the sky would be a more appropriate method to stop the rain.
If Lady Kanako says so, then it must be caused by the sea.
As memories of the sea floated into her eyes again, she proceeded to resolve the incident - something she isn't used to.
