The Moon Rocket was a rocket that was created by Patchouli Knowledge that only appears in Silent Sinner in Blue. It was originally created in order to get to the Moon, taking Remilia Scarlet, Sakuya Izayoi, Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame. However, as soon as it crashed into the sea on the Moon, it was destroyed.
Background Information
Since Patchouli didn't know how to create a rocket to start with, she ordered Sakuya to find information about them. She brings back Outside World magazines and the like from Kourindou, taking particular interest in the Saturn V. The rocket was created with three stages, duplicating those like the Saturn V, hence its appearance, in order for it to correctly get to the moon.
Otherwise, the rocket is non-traditional, being built out of wood, with fully functioning windows, a decorative bat hanging over the doorway, and shimenawa and ofuda covering the outside, with chain wrapped and locked around it when in use. On the inside, there is a small shrine, and many household furnishings.
To power the rocket, after previously being told to learn to how to harness the myriad gods by Yukari Yakumo, and with a tip from Youmu Konpaku and Yuyuko Saigyouji, Reimu calls on the God of Voyages, Sumiyoshi, to act as the rocket's three stages. Additionally, the three stages were named Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka, after the three stars in Orion's Belt, on a suggestion by Marisa and Eirin Yagokoro. Eirin also secretly affixes a piece of the Lunar Veil to the cone of the rocket, ensuring its journey to the Moon.
Fandom
The rocket usually has colour added to in fanart, and may sometimes be created in 3D. There's even the occurrence of it been drawn as model so it's small in appearance.
