Mountain of Faith/Characters

This article list all the characters appearing in Mountain of Faith.

The player can choose between two characters, both having three shot types. All of the three gives the same conversations between the characters.

The events takes place on the Youkai Mountain, where it is noted in Perfect Memento in Strict Sense that there are tengu and kappa living, thus the appearance of the kappa Nitori Kawashiro and the two tengus Momiji Inubashiri and Aya Shameimaru. Also notable is appearance of a lot of gods.

Shrine Maiden of Paradise

Reimu Hakurei
Playable Character

The shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine. Reimu got threats to close her shrine from the shrine maiden of the new shrine on the top of the Youkai Mountain. She sets out to the mountain to investigate the situation and deal with the new god.

普通の魔法使い
Ordinary Magician

Marisa Kirisame
Playable Character

Even though Marisa does not have that much to do with the Hakurei Shrine, she still follows Reimu's leads. Though, she still has to think of something to do when she reaches the mountain other than dealing with the new god.

Shizuha Aki
Stage 1 Midboss

The god who deals with the leaves falling from the trees. She has a younger sister and together they control autumn. She lets her sister deal with the intruder.

豊かさと稔りの象徴
Symbol of Abundance and Harvest

Minoriko Aki
Stage 1 Boss

The younger sister of Shizuha, and the god of the harvest. She has to deal with the intruder but not out of protection for the intruder, but just out of anger.

秘神流し雛
The Hidden God Nagashi-bina

Hina Kagiyama
Stage 2 Midboss and Stage 2 Boss

The god of misfortune. She tries to stop the heroine out of protection for the lost human, as it is dangerous in the mountain.

超妖怪弾頭
Super Youkai Warhead

Nitori Kawashiro
Stage 3 Midboss and Stage 3 Boss

One of the many kappas on the mountain, who also tries to stop the heroine from proceeding. She is, together with the other kappa, troubled by the new god of the mountain and wants to have someone to stop the god.

The Petty Patrol Tengu

Momiji Inubashiri
Stage 4 Midboss

The wolf tengu at The Waterfall of Nine Heavens, also tried to stop the heroine. But she withdrew early and reported it back to Tenma, the boss of the tengu's.

Aya Shameimaru
Stage 4 Boss

The tengu send by the boss tengu to speak to the intruders as she knows the heroine. She says that she and the other tengu already planned to attack the new god, so she sends the heroine back home.

Deified Human of the Wind

Sanae Kochiya
Stage 5 Midboss and Stage 5 Boss

The shrine maiden of the Moriya Shrine, who moved together with the lake and the god to Gensokyo. She wants to gather enough faith for her god.

The Avatar of Mountains and Lakes

Kanako Yasaka
Final Stage Boss; Extra Stage Midboss

The god of the Moriya Shrine and new god of the mountain. The original inhabitants do not want her as a god, but she won't listen. With the help of Sanae she wants to gather enough faith for the shrine to prevent Gensokyo from becoming weak.

Suwako Moriya
Extra Stage Boss

The original god of the Moriya Shrine. She got beaten by Kanako and lost the shrine to her. Suwako does only want to have a little fun with the heroine.
